Our rooms was on the main floor and had that was needed including cleanliness. The breakfast was basic, but filling. Wonderful location and I am sure the view is great when it isn't raining.

We stayed in the Jacuzzi room after a day of cycling the Kettle Valley Railway. It was very nice to have a hot tub to soak in. The room was large and very clean, with a little balcony off the side.
The house itself is a large, 2-story apartment above some stores, right on the beach. The space is very airy, with Spanish-inspired architecture, and a nice place to hang out. The location is great.
Breakfast in the morning wasn't as luxurious as you might get at other B&Bs, and perhaps this is why they call themselves an "Inn." The very nice hostess, Elise, put out cold hard boiled eggs, muffins, cheese strings, cereals, fruit, yogurt and plenty of coffee, and you served yourself. It was plentiful, but maybe not special.
Overall, it was a very nice place to stay, and we would have happily stayed longer.

Stayed with my boyfriend and dog in August 2011. LOVED this place. Stayed in the Siesta Room which had its own private entrance which was great with a private patio. Had access to the main room, kitchen, and balcony overlooking Okanagan Lake.

Breakfast was simple but good and Elise (the hostess) was wonderful. Any time we needed silverware or anything else to borrow she couldn't have been more helpful. Free parking out front and about 20 feet to the beach on the lake.

Walking distance to coffee shops, tennis courts, farmer's market, etc. I've been to Penticton MANY times and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hubby and I stayed for our second anniversary in the El Presidente Room. The B&B is a beautiful Spanish style, and the common room was beautiful with views of the lake right across the street. We had a shared balcony overlooking the hills, and it was great for people watching. However, our hostess left a little to be desired.

We arrived later than planned at about 9:30pm as hubby couldn't get off work early. I sent an email ahead saying that we would be there later in the evening, but she mistook it to mean that we were leaving at 5:30am the next morning. She wasn't expecting us when we arrived, and although she thankfully hadn't given our room away it was a bit disconcerting.

Breakfast wasn't what I would have expected. The first morning we went down for breakfast and no one was there, we didn't know if we could serve ourselves or not as this was only the second B&B we had ever stayed in. Breakfast was string cheese, hard boiled eggs that were warm if you got up early, fruit salad, and yogurt. She could make you toast but ran out of bread when the next couple came down for breakfast.

She was also a bit unprofessional as she wore pajamas the whole time, no matter what time of day, and she talked/complained about other guests in the B&B and former guests. And honestly it wasn't great hearing about what other guests had done in our room - kind of kills the romance. We wouldn't stay there again despite the amazing location, and hope that the hostess steps it up and acts more professional.

Had a very enjoyable stay here, we're placed in the new Siesta room on the top floor, very spacious, big bed, small table with 2 chairs for snacking on, LCD TV with satellite feed , bathroom with full shower, bathrobes and clean linens, our own patio at the entry with table & chairs. This B&B is right across the beach where the paddlewheeler is located. Parking is in front of unit, side by side parking for guests. You have use of the main floor where there is a sitting area and the beach view. Plenty of local information is provided, including an easel with the upcoming events for the area - great! The breakfast here is very basic, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese sticks, toast, hard boiled eggs, some mini muffins and mini cinnamon rounds, orange juice and fresh coffee.

I stayed in the Hideaway Room at the Casa Grande while in Penticton for my son's hockey try-outs. Overall, it was a good experience. The deck off of this room may be the best in all of Penticton for sun and people watching. I found the accommodations to have the capacity to be absolutely outstanding with a little more care and updating. For instance, the batteries were worn out in the air freshener, the towels were tattered on the edges (but clean) and the sheets were worn (but clean also). The location and layout of this building is exceptional, with a wide variety of rooms and lake views. The hostess, a very nice lady who appeared to have some health issues, seems to have her hands full, and perhaps should take on some help to bring this place up to its potential.

Room Tip: The Hideaway is small, but the most private.

My husband and I stayed ther for two nights. It was a lovely room that had a big jetted soaker tub and rainforest shower which we both loved!! The small balcony off the room was nice and private. The room was comfortable but the location was at the front entrance and also beside the kitchen so we heard the other guests coming and going so sleep was broken up! The best part of the stay was our hostess Alize! She was just wonderful. She had a great contiental breakfast ready for us each morning. She was also very helpful in suggesting things to do and see during our stay. One thing we really enjoyed was the farmers market down mainstreet on Saturday mornings. The place felt like home and we would definatley stay there again.
