Hubs and I had a craving for Indian food and were told this place was a good choice, walking distance from our B&B. The woman who served us was extremely warm. We tried to order some wine with our food and this lovely lady had no idea about wine whatsoever. We finally chose a wine after I went over and pointed out the one I wanted to her, and she brought the carafe over with a couple of water glasses in which to serve it. We did not care and found this to be part of the charm of this family run establishment, but could easily see wine snobs being very put off by this. Given that vino is a burgeoning industry in the Okanagan, it would make sense for this restaurant to put a bit more thought into their wines and the service of the wines they offer to accompany their excellent Indian food. And the food is where this place shines...it is outstanding. Everything is fresh, perfectly spiced and really, really good. Go for the food, be specific about the wine you want with it and it will be fine. The staff are not polished but they are warm and it makes them happy to feed their customers delicious food. Just surrender to it and enjoy. If you can do that, you will love it. If you're going to get all fussy, go elsewhere.
