I really enjoyed my stay at the Crown on the Weekend of September 21,22, 2012. The prices were really reasonable. It was very close to the beach, staff were friendly and helpful. The bed are comfortable, room was clean, it is not a fancy hotel but you are not paying the same price as the fancy hotels. I will stay there again, and bring my family. Great place to stay.

Room Tip: There are different types of rooms. There are family rooms with sitting areas, Kitchens and then th...

We stayed here for 3 night in September and have 0 complaints. The room was very clean, we had with fresh sheets and towels every day, the rates were good, the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the location is excellent! Deffnatley would recommend this place to friends & family and will be staying here again in the future.

I hesitate posting this as this little gem may become less of a little secret in the Okanagan valley. We just finished our 3rd stay in less than a year. There is nothing fancy about this little gem, they do have an outdoor salted pool, but the place is spic and span and the service is bar none, the rates also are fantastic. We have met people every time, who have made this place a vacation destination for years. It is right across from the beach and couldn't be more convenient. Staff and customers are laid back, accommodating and friendly.

Room Tip: Ask for a room over looking the pool for a bonus view of the lake, or stay on the left side when you...

If you ever found some one working there you could have got an answer to a question or maybe had your room cleaned..... We only needed the room for sleeping but when we came back from out all day to arrive with surprise the room had not been made up, maybe the maid quit or something. We tried to call the front desk for hours and left messages with not a call back and no one to be found in the office. The next morning we wanted to get an early start but no one is. In the office till 9 so we were so put out we left the keys in the mail box and got out of town. On a positive note for people that may like this sort of thing (not that we did after a long day) the entertainment is quite interesting..... You can hear the neibors going at it through the walls on both sides like they were laying next to you....... Go back not a chance

We stayed in the building at the end of the property overlooking the pool on the second floor. The room was clean and like other reviewers mentioned, it didn't have a blow dryer, but when we asked for one from one of the staff we were supplied with one immediately! It had the most comfortable bed and pillows we have ever slept on in a hotel. Carol was very pleasant and she made sure we were well looked after. She provided us with whatever we needed. Our room had large windows which supplied us with a terrific view of the lake. If you are looking for fancy housecoats and room service, this isn't the place, but if you want somewhere that's comfortable and close to EVERYTHING, and has a nice view...ask for room 223 at the Crown!

Room Tip: Room on the second floor with kitchen had great view of the lake.

We stayed here two years and were happy with room, ameneties and location. However, we were very disappointed with our stay in August 2012. There were several shortcomings. We had to ask for a replacement roll each time we finished a roll of toilet paper. There were no wine glasses, cutting board or decent knives. One positive was the friendly, personable service from the non-management staff. Considering that we were charged a premium rate,we certainly didn't receive premium value

DO NOT STAY HERE !!! i have never been more appauled and disgusted with the service i have received. I try to book a room for three of my friends and was told by a "mary" or "christine" as she likes to change her name that it is a family resort and that she would email me back and let me know if this is allowed? So anyways never heard from her so i booked somewhere else and to my suprise when i looked at my credit card statement they charged me a cancellation fee!!!! i never confirmed and there is something very disturbing about how they handle buisness. So i assume its a mistake and call to try and figure it out just to be hung up on several times and yelled at and be told that i am harrasing them??!?! what utterly disgusting service and i would advise you never to stay here as i have never been so insulted.
so short of the story is if you have a problem they will NOT HELP YOU in fact HANG UP ON YOU!!!
