We stayed at Mama Yeh Log House in August. We read reviews before our travel and asked for suite to be booked in a second floor. The rooms were clean. We used the living room for relaxing. The kitchen was very nice, had everything we needed.
Nice people run the place. They were super pleasant.
We enjoyed our stay.

very friendly people, and easy to find place. The log cabin is very nice inside and out, and a great place to relax after being on the road. The view is nice, and was by far the best place i stayed while traveling from maine to alaska. The breakfast was very delicious, and their service was amazing.

The owners Edward and May are lovely people and exceptional hosts. Their rooms have been furnished with taste and an eye on the details. The full wood logs of the BnB create a very warm atmosphere and a special charm. Surrounded by lots of nature, you can see wildlife wherever you look. While enjoying the tasty breakfast in the morning we where even able to watch some hummingbirds. There is easy access directly from the highway.

We stayed 2 night's at the log house, which is at a little distance from the trailer park, so you do not notice it at all. The common sitting room and kitchen are very spacious and nice, check out the photos at mamayeh's web site.

The house is situated quite lonely a little south of Prince George. You have to allow for a ca. 15 min drive to Prince George for shopping etc.

When we arrived, Edward showed us the house and kitchen, and pointed out the complimentary frozen pizza in the fridge.

In the morning Edward and May made breakfast, which was very good, especially when got the scrambled eggs with May's home smoked salmon.

All in all a very nice and affordable place to stay.

Edward (the owner) gave me lots of ideas for my drive up to Alaska. The omelet they made me for breakfast was the best omelet I've ever had.

Edward even gave me some his awesome homemade smoked salmon when I left. They are very generous, great cooks and created a great place to stay!

We stay at May and Edward's last year and were so happy with it we stayed again this year and will stay again in the future. First, May and Edward are some of the most wonderful people you will meet. I can’t say enough about them and their hospitality. Second, the accommodations are great.

Last year we stayed in the upstairs room as there was four of us. This year we stayed in the two rooms downstairs as we there we five of us. The beds are great! The bathrooms are great! The cabin is great! Is is clean, has very nice decor, very well priced and with every amenity you could want. It is located just outside of Prince George but well worth the extra little drive.

We chose to have the Taiwanese dinner this year and were not disappointed. The fried rice was so good and the wonton soup – well let me just say that one of our party chose to have it for breakfast too!

Thanks May and Edward. We look very forward to our next stay.

We arrived earlier than expected at about 4:30pm, coming from the north via Japser and Prince George. Edward and May were next door in their own log cabin. We went to look for them and Edward came over and got us settled with a very warm reception. May then prepared dinner for the 4 of us -- amazing Taiwanese Fried Rice (lots of shrimps) with dessert and drinks for $10/each -- we even have some leftovers for the next day!

Four of us shared the Prince Room upstairs. It was very spacious, clean and walking up and down those genuine log stairs was very cool! WIFI was great to sooth the teenagers and there were trails to walk around the property of tens of acres. The bathroom is on the main floor so have to walk down stairs to share with guest of another room. It was very clean and we did not have any problem sharing with a couple visiting from Germany. May prepared very amazing breakfasts with eggs custom to our individual preferences. She even gave us extra bacon strips and orange juice to take on the road the next day.

All in all, we had an amazing experience. Edward and May were great B & B hosts!

Room Tip: Prince Room is the most popular so book ahead. Queen & Prince Rooms share the downstairs bath.
