We stayed at this hotel on an emergency trip when my mother-in-law passed away. The staff were very compassionate and they also have a very reasonable "hospital rate". The manager even sent a platter of food for us so we wouldn't have to worry about going out to eat. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Econo Lodge.

Room Tip: Family suite had two bedrooms and a nice big living room area.

Very conveniently located for anyone wanting to explore the city. The rooms are very clean and the staff do an excellent job of making you feel comfortable. The staff are very knowledgeable about any info required pertaining to the city and it's surroundings and they are very helpful and friendly. In some of the rooms the Wi-Fi does not work properly in the winter. We were there for 4 months and during the very cold days the Wi-Fi was terrible. Overall the hotel is a great place where cleanliness, service and price is concerned.

Our room was ok, clean but had a bad smell when we first checked in. The wifi didn't work the entire time we were there and when we called the desk clerk at night she said that they were closed and didn't do anything about it. When we asked her what time breakfast was until she said all day which wasn't true either. The hotel is close to many restaurants and downtown shopping however it doesn't seem like a great area at night. The hotel is a bit run down and it seemed like people live there. The best part was that they give you a free breakfast at De Dutch which is located on site. You get a basic breakfast for free or $7 per person off of any menu item. The breakfast ends at noon. I don't think we would return to this hotel in the future.

Thank you for taking time to review our property.
We here at the Econo Lodge City Centre are in an exciting time. As a new member of the Econo Lodge family the hotel is experiencing various upgrades and improvements to the property, One being an upgraded WiFi system to ensure our guests have a great connection during their stay.
Guest comments is always appreciated and valued in order to address to our team compliments or concerns. Our hotel goal is to ensure "total guest satisfaction" and I believe we fell short with your last visit. We have take time to address this with our team to ensure this will not happen again.

We rented the 2-bedroom room for my wife and I and our teenage daughter. It was a great room, especially for the price! We had lots of room and the 2 bedrooms made it seem like a small apartment. There was a couple of gas barbecues available for the guests. It is centrally-located.

Stopped by this place on our way to Prince Rupert and on our return home. We had a double room which was clean, comfortable and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The Televisions were old and not much for sharp pictures. The hotel rooms are a bit outdated but worked for us. The hotel seemed to cater to the working tpye of individuals as the vehicles in the parking lot were those of electricians and such. The front end staff were friendly and accomodating. This place is situated close to a Tim Horton's coffee shop as well as the White Spot Family restuarant.
We stayed there on two seperate occasions and found no problems.

Stayed their for doctors room their family suite with 2 separate rooms and 1 big living room was great!!!! Beds were soft the location is quite its safe to cause its next to a police station. Sept the one time we checked in we saw someone's underwear in the bathroom but hopefully they can upgrade their hotel to all flat screens and the hotel is cheap to stay for the night. I had to go to PG for a family medical emergency and they were compassionate and gave me a rate I could afford. I thought maybe the rooms may be lacking due to the great price, but was pleasantly surprised to find an exceptionally clean and comfortable room. The service was great, and we stayed 10 days and I will not stay anywhere else from now on when I go to PG. Their regular room rates are very affordable in downtown Prince George.

Room Tip: IF you cannot climb stairs ask for a room on the lower level.

With our close proximity to the Hospital , and very reasonable rates, we find that we get a lot of people traveling for medical reasons .
