“Clean, inexpensive - best choice.”

This place is our #1 choice for our trips to P.G. It is always clean (smells AND looks clean), tidy, well kept. The rooms vary from the standard two-room, to kitchenettes and suites. The staff and owner are fantastic and the owner knows us by name and remembers what we discussed the previous time. My only complaint is that they are starting to get busier as other people find out about this gem and start booking so, we were out of luck once in trying to get a reservation here. Would definitely recommend calling and booking. No fancy pools, breakfast bars or crystal chandeliers but for us.........it's the only place to stay when in town.

We stay at this motel every time we are in P.G. overnight. We feelit is the best place to stay for griendliness and price. Highly recomend. The genleman in the office is friendly and helpful with directions around town.

Room Tip: We have stayed in different rooms in different areas of the motel and find they are all great.

I have stayed here a number of times. The rooms are spotless and the beds very comfortable. I find the folks that run it friendly and accomodating. My one complaint is no coffee in the rooms but they do have it in the office. Very reasonable and we will use it again.

We've stayed here a number of times over the past few years, generally during Prince George Dance Festival week in March, but occasionally during other times of the year. It is always busy, and frequently fully booked - I'd recommend making a reservation.

We've stayed in various rooms/suites and had good experiences in all. Furniture is quite new, beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are small & basic but clean. Smallish towels but no big deal. Fridges/microwaves in all Queen bed rooms we stayed in, plus once in a full kitchenette/King-size bed suite which was well laid out.

Despite being close to the highway we've always found it to be quiet. Really decent basic stay facility. For the price - $69 to $79 - definitely worth checking out.

We stay at the 97 Motor Inn regularly as we often travel through PG.

PROS: It is always very, very clean. The staff is alwasy grateful for the business and pleasant to deal with. The beds are usually quite comfortable. It's usually fairly quiet. Pet friendly. Large rooms. Fair price. For $100 we got a kitchenette and three queen beds (One in an adjoining room). Convenient location and not downtown. Many rooms have jetted tubs. Upper rooms have small balconies.

CONS: Sometimes crews stay there and they can be loud. They use a lot of Febreeze - I make a point when making a reservation to ask them to leave the window open before we get there as it can be over powering. I have had instances with "working girls" hanging around there and making a lot of noise hollering to people in the middle of the night. Becoming slightly rundown.

Room Tip: Ask for the room in the basement in the corner farthest from the office, it's probably the quiet...

funny guy at the counter, bit of a language barrier, but good natured and friendly. Room is very clean, and lots of channels on good tv. Microwave and coffee. Clean bathroom, and windows open for air. Very comfortable quality bed. Furniture is updated from a few years ago.
Better than the Treasure Cove.
Didn't have an iron and board in the room, but no big deal.

Room Tip: lower rooms get some floor noise from upstairs. Never been on the upper floor.

We have stayed at this hotel once before and though we didn't have a first good impression, we figured we'd give it another chance as the price was right and its close to the airport. First of all, we couldn't get into our room as the key didn't work. Got the manager and he tried. Locks were frozen. No surprise as the gaps around the door let steady streams of frigid air into the room. Finally got in. Room looked presentable enough. Sheets were clean. However, bathroom was DISCUSTING! There was hair on the floor all around the toilet, some sort of goopy stuff on the toilet paper holder and stain that looked like dried blood on the bathmat. Gross. This will be the last time we give this place a 'second chance'.
