My son and I travelled to Prince Rupert from Haida Gwaii on June 27th and stayed at this facility for four nights.
This is the second time at the Inn On the Harbour and attest, in our opinion it is the best place to stay in Prince Rupert.
Very friendly, Professional and hospitable staff man the hotel and you are made very welcome by them.
Our family room was very comfortable and clean.
The free Complimentary breakfast was well stocked and very enjoyable.
Would we stay there again on your next trip to Rupert - Absolutely
Does our family recommend you stay there - again Absolutely

Room Tip: I have marked Restaurant for the Complimentary breakfast service

We stayed at the Inn one night to catch the ferry to Port Hardy the next morning. We had 2 adjoining rooms. Our room was very good but in the other room the heating was on and could not be turned off. There was a fan but this didn't really help much.. For the rest, really nice rooms, they even provide binoculars to catch the nice views. We could have breakfast at 5h before heading to the ferry which we found very convenient. If we had the time, we would have stayed longer! If you don't know where to eat, smile's was a very nice place for fish!

Having said that in the intro I have to say the staff here are extremely personable and friendly. The breakfast provided had a nice selection of coffee, tea, bagels, bread, yogurt, juice so totally unexpected so a nice touch in my opinion. The rooms appear to be recently renovated and they have nice LCD television. If I wasn't such a light sleeper I'd stay here again as the guests upstairs were up and walking around at 4 am and I was able to hear the tv dialog in the adjacent rooms. Overall tho recommended.

We arrived off the late night ferry from Port Hardy, but despite the hour had a friendly welcome from the receptionist who cheerfully showed us to our room overlooking the water so a delightful view greeted us in the morning (if you ignore the immediate foreground which is not the hotel's fault).

Complimentary continental breakfast was fine, although the breakfast room was a little small supplies were replenished with amazing freqency and cheerfullness.

Cheerful, friendly and helpful service and a good night's sleep - we would happily stay here again.

The Inn overlooks the bay area and is close to the town centre and shops and just 200 yards from the pick-up point for the shuttle bus to the airport.

It has been recently refurbished and the room was very well furnished, clean and very pleasant and spacious. We were in one of the rooms overlooking the bay. No restaurant but there is an Italian restaurant next door to the hotel and we ate there. There are other restaurants close-by. Continental breakfast. The breakfast room is on the small side but you can take your breakfast back to your room if it is too busy.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. We did a overnight while we were waiting for the Ferry to the Q.C.Islands. What a very nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very pleasant and the continental Breakfast very nice touch. I work in the industry on Vancouver Island and I must say I was very impressed with everything the hotel had to offer. Would I stay again you bet.. Great place...

We arrived early from our overnight ferry from Ketchikan. During the reservation process they advised us that if the room were ready, we could check in early and enjoy the breakfast.
Well, the room was ready, and we had breakfast. We had a King bed, harbor view that was magnificent, and the room was very large, with every amenity, and we had a great stay.
The service and staff were excellent, parking was simple, and the continental breakfast was very good.
Highly recommended and would stay again.
