“Very bad attitudes here”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

We're told by locals to go elsewhere but due to line ups at good restaurants we had to go here. Never got a chance as we left when the waitress threw the cutlery on the table. The atmosphere was terrible and she did not seem to be the only one with a bad attitude. Don't do it.

“Poor quality, overlooked fish and chips”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 via mobile

Four of us went to Smiles in mid June. We had heard that it was a great place to eat. How wrong this was! The fresh Halibut fish and chips was totally overcooked, and very greasy. The Boston Clam Chowder was totally bland, more like a white sauce, than soup. All four of us were very disappointed!

“just pour grease down your throat”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

clean and good service, think they were a bit overwhelmed with the crowd. I had the halibut fish and chips, was told the chips were made fresh if they were they were not good, and the fish was so greasy I tried to squeeze as much grease as I could off it, but the fish underneath was good. nope not again for fish and chips

“Great food at a really cool place”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

The food was fantastic, as well,as the server. Not sure of her name but was originally from France. Very attentive. Ambiance is cool, as the building is about a hundred years old.
