“Lovely little hideaway in the forest”
Reviewed 8 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

This cottage is a bit out of town which was perfect for us, with a farm shop nearby and easy access to walks and swimming from a secluded beach. You do really need to have a car to get here from Ganges.

The house itself is well equipped and comfortable although the mezzanine level does not have much protection from noise and light (no blinds). Still, that's what a mezzanine is all about really. I liked the fact that there is a washer and dryer in the basement and that the owners leave DVDs books and basic supplies on hand.

No TV reception which normally would not matter to us but we wanted to watch some of the olympics. Still it is close enough to town and excellent pubs such as Moby's do have TV on tap.

“A perfect hideaway!”
Reviewed 25 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Our family LOVED this little cottage! Of course, you never know what to expect just based on pictures, but this place exceeded expectations. It was absolutely spotless, and though the cottage is small, it felt surprisingly spacious. (And the kids loved the loft!) The only downside is that it's a bit of a ways from town, but that was only a minor inconvenience for us.
