“We want to return!”

My daughter and I stayed at Between the Covers Booklovers B & B in the summer. The bed and breakfast is in a quiet and beautiful location on a large property. The rooms are spacious, very clean and private with lots of literature to read in the comfy bed or on the quiet deck overlooking beautiful gardens and fields. The breakfast served on the deck/patio was delicious. It was a great escape for us but also close enough to enjoy the many arts and crafts venues on the island. Try to visit Salt Spring Island on a Saturday and go to the market in the town of Ganges.

Just 2 weeks ago my friends and I stayed at Between the Covers. It was really lovely, very pretty and quirky and with a lot of privacy. Spacious and clean. The rooms were decorated in a bookish theme, which was extremely cosy. It was very accessible to town but also very quiet and splendid. Wish we could have stayed for days here on Salt Spring Island. One of the rooms had a kitchenette, the other had a nice sofa seating area. You can enter the rooms directly from the exterior of the house, where there's a lovely verandah you could sit in and admire the surrounds and spot the wild deer grazing in the field beyond.

The hosts were very generous with delicious breakfast, which included freshly hatched eggs from the free range chickens on the property.

Room Tip: There are 2 rooms, one with a queen bed and a kitchenette and dining area. The other has a king bed...

This past summer I had the opportunity to stay at Between the Covers B&B, it was a wonderful experience. The room was so cozy, filled with literature of all kinds, comfortable bed and very clean. The property was breathtaking and made you feel like you were worlds away from everything, but it was so close to town that we were able to enjoy the island. The view of the lavender, the chickens, the deer grazing in the fields. The breakfasts were wonderful, home made, set on the deck so we could enjoy the view, The owner Margriet was a delight, and very helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic experience! We will be back for sure!
