“Scenic, Seafood & Service”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

This restaurant was praised by every local with whom I spoke. So, even after a so-so lunch, I returned the next day for dinner. Excellent decision! The seared scallops on a bed of artfully carved daikon with pancetta and a saffron cream sauce was marvelous ($15). This was just the start of a beautiful meal. The fresh wild salmon, pan seared with caper relish, was served with a large spinach salad (fresh & local) perfectly dressed with a fennel & citrus vinaigrette ($22). Good homemade bread, nice wine choices, excellent service & amazing views.

“Enjoyable”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

Our sandwich selections for lunch were very tasty. The chowder could have been a bit creamier, but it was chock- a- block full of veggies and seafood. Great coffee. Even though it was very busy,
our server was pleasant, calm, and efficient. A nice lunch experience.

“Great variety of appetizers”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

The menu offers a great variety of appetizers which are inventive and very good. My friend and I like to make a meal out of sharing a sampling of them. Service is also very pleasant as is the setting. Based on the quality of the appys, I am sure that the main courses are also good.

“Favorite restaurant in all of Saltspring!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014 via mobile

I've eaten here lots of times, in winter and the summer, and it really is my favorite! Their food is always delicious, hot, and served in a great environment - if you come for lunch try to sit on the patio outside - it's got a lovely view of the water! People are friendly, and my favorite dish has got to be the Gorgonzola ravioli! Cheers!

“Good food, nice location”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

We went here for dinner recently and it was a nice evening. It's a small restaurant on the water in Ganges but was nice inside. The food was really good and we enjoyed our meals. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient. Nothing fancy, but a nice place to have a meal.
