“A wonderful morning of tide pools!”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

The very helpful and fun woman at the visitor center....sorry I didn't get her name! Recommended we go to Tonquin Park to observe tide pools...very secluded we were the only ones there for low tide that morning and it was very protected, no wind, and amazing starfish and anemones!, fun little hike down fairly old boardwalk and very private.....I love mushrooming and saw tons of specimen on the way......very lush and green!

“Secluded Beach with beautiful views”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

We had this beach to ourselves for about 2 hours on a beautiful Sunny day in Tofino.. Great place to enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach.

“Secluded”

It's a bit tricky to find, but worth every step. Tide in, or tide out... a fascinating place. A photographer's delight.

“Beautiful, secluded sand beach”
Reviewed 14 August 2013

Walked here yesterday with our 5 yr old daughter. Trail was easy to navigate, but does have some steeper grades for those with walking difficulties.
Beach was fine sand, large, and had some (sharp and barnacle covered) rocks to climb round to see some tide pools and marine life. Water is predictably cold.
Absolutely stunning scenery.
Use the porta-potty at the trailhead as there are no facilities.
