Best coffee in Tofino. The whole marketplace is alive with stores and activities. The Café is the hub. It's a busy place so get in line, but its worth it. Plus their gear is a must to buy.

Only place we saw serious attitude in tofino/Ucluelet area. Totally obnoxious service and the coffee was mediocre. Where is the tude coming from all the rain?

Great hand made espresso drinks, awesome merch and a nice little covered patio outside for socializing. I can see how people think they favor locals, because they do- It's Tofino, that is to be expected.
Bring cash, that's all they take.

Great coffee here served to your order however you have it, open early in the morning for when your on your run out of town to where ever and need a shot of good coffee, or sit down outside with a mate and have a chat, or go online with wifi and send your photos of surfing/kayaking/whales back home to let family & friends know that your doing just fine. Also great biscuits & slices.

This place will definitely feel a little weird if you're from the city. Seems like everyone who comes here knows each other. We sat down for 20 minutes or so to finish our coffee, and customers come and go as they chat with the staff about surfing or kayaking or something. It's a small place, with some stools, some computers, and a patio. There was only 1 staff, I'm not sure if she were an employee or the owner. She wasn't rude, but I found the locals were treated a little better. This is quite strange because the stores downtown actually show effort to take care of visitors.

I ordered a coffee but they didn't have drip, so I received an Americano, $2.75 for a 12oz. I guess I'm ok with with the price. The coffee itself isn't bad, wasn't watery, and wasn't thick so that it sticks to your mouth in a nasty way. It was smooth and had a nice flavour. Scent is weak but the taste is convincing.

There are no Starbucks or Tim's in town, so don't even bother looking for one you city people, this is definitely better. Although the decor looks quite ugly and is in desperate need of a renovation. I know the owner is trying to get a nature kind of look, but they got to clean it up.
