We were guests of the hotel for 3 nights in ealy December. It was our second stay, Once again, we were in a deluxe room. There's really not much more to add to my first review (written after we visited in May 2013).

Every aspect of our stay was perfect. The architect Miles Van de Rohe said that God is in the details and this hotel understands this better than ANY other hotel in which we have stayed.

The staff is exceptional. An example: Our housekeeper wrote us a lovely note in beautiful script noting that she had observed that we favoured a particular type of coffee and so was leaving extra. Staff who had been working at the hotel on our previous visit all seemed to remember us and greeted us warmly as if we were the most valued of guests.

The bathrooms are incredible!

The only disappointment was that there were no bedtime treats on our end tables as before. The shortbread sables were so delicious and I had been looking forward to them.

Spent 3 nights at the Rosewood Georgia on our way to Whistler. Truly wonderful place. Old world charm with all modern comforts and superb service thrown in . Special thanks has to go to Vanessa in the bar, who educated me in the wonders of Canadian wine. If you're in Vancouver this has to be the only place to stay....I will definitely be back.

This is a classic hotel that harkens to a time when people valued being treated like true guests. The service, the style and physical surroundings are all top notch. The staff are there to please from Dale in the valet service to Samantha the concierge and Jeffrey on reception. It is hard to compare this to more modern properties as the ambience and style are very unique. The pool area is also beautiful. Next time I will have to treat my wife to some spa time ! We will definitely be back. Our experience was flawless and the service was outstanding. My only critique is the access to the valet parking area. It is not off West Georgia, but off of Howe. Guests would be grateful for a heads up as I circled the block a few times trying to figure out where to park. Also, not unique to this property, parking costs in downtown Vancouver are exorbitant (45$/day).

I took advantage of the third night free promotion which made for great value. The beds were super comfortable. The rain shower head and heated bathroom floors were a great feature. The Bel Cafe off the lobby is an excellent spot for your morning coffee and breakfast.

The rooms have some high tech features but very simple to navigate and very convenient. The location is great and central to some fantastic shopping and sightseeing.

Stayed here for several days while in business to Vancouver. Everything was top-notch: wonderful staff, very clean and comfortable rooms, a great set up for working in the room during the day, and unexpected luxuries such as Nespresso machines in the rooms. The cafe on the first floor serves a wonderful lunch. Location is very close to good shopping. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Service was impeccable from valet to maids to concierge. Lovely hotel, thoroughly modernized, sometimes not completely successfully. Beautiful decor, very comfortable beds. Their version of a "Rain' shower is pretty concept but completely awful for washing your hair. Overly complex lighting systems, but all over a great comfortable room in fabulous location for downtown Vancouver. Great food on-site and nearby. Staff could not be more accommodating.
