“Lunch for Leos & Friends”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

My husband & I are both Geminis, and our friends are both Leos. We try to get together each year to celebrate. Our friends selected Seasons in the Park, a restaurant that we haven't dined at for several years. The location in Queen Elizabeth Park is one of the most scenic in the city, and they also have a good reputation. Our lunch two days ago was simply perfect! We shared a plate of calamari to start with. The two men ordered the daily special of grilled beef buns with New England chowder, "Birthday Girl" chose the Lobster Club and I had the Lorraine Frittata. We shared a couple of bottles of a nice Italian pinot grigio. Our waiter was attentive & most helpful, the meals were all excellent. Another memorable lunch with our old friends! Make sure that you take lots of pictures of the city from the viewpoint beside the restaurant before walking over to the quarry garden.

“Awesome food, stunning view!”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

Gazpacho soup and a salmon burger tasted even better paired with the stunning views of downtown Vancouver.
Excellent service and a great wine list topped it off.
It makes a great break from touring through the gardens at Queen Elizabeth Park and birding if you're into that sort of thing :-)

“Attention paid to a complaint”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We used the Fifth Avenue Valet Service when having lunch in the restaurant two weeks ago. Lunch as usual was good, service not as friendly as some. On returning to our vehicle I noticed a scratch about 7 inches on the door. Although the Manager said he didn't do it, I did phone the Restaurant to complain. Richard, Seasons's Manager was apologetic and had Joseph from Fifth Avenue Valets Ltd phone me. Joseph was also apologetic and agreed to have it repaired.

It has been repaired to my satisfaction and I am very pleased with how the situation was handled by Seasons and the Valet Company

“A view, a view and ..... A view”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 via mobile

The view and location are superb. The kitchen is ok with not much imagination but great for a fast noon lunch or a quick bite in the early afternoon.

“Warm spot in the chill”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

Outdoor seating is made warm with discrete heat lamps and gorgeous fireplaces. Food is good, but not excellent. Service was great, but it's the view that makes this place memorable. Spectacular views of the city and park.
