Arrived to a warm welcome and very helpful staff, the rooms were clean and our balcony was just amazing! The people in the lobby recommended an amazing italian restaurant where the food was outstanding, it is also in a great central area of the city where there is a lot to do such as shopping and tourist attractions! Would highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in the contemporary L'Hermitage. The decor was simple and beautiful, the fresh orchids in the lobby were stunning. The rooms were sizable and very clean, the staff went out of its way to ensure one's comfort. There was a very beautiful lap pool outside and an I door- outdoor breakfast area was tranquility in the midst of the city. My husband and I loved our stay here and would stay here any time we venture to Vancouver. Wonderful beds and great location.

Room Tip: The balcony rooms were not particularly desirable since there is construction occurring across the s...

We stayed here 2 days before embarking on a cruise in a 2 bedroom/2 bath family suite. Check in was very efficient, the room was not ready when we arrived and when we returned a few hours later-all was waiting for us in the room.
The room was incredible..incredibly fancy kitchen, bathrooms and master bedroom. Laundry was key as we were in the middle of a 2 week vacation and it was a life saver to do laundry before getting on the ship. We walked everywhere in Vancouver, even to the ship. Took the train and it was easy to get to the stations.

There is construction across the street but we never heard it until we went on the balcony. Incredibly sound proof hotel.

Vancouver is a beautiful city and wish we had more time to spend there. Will be back for sure and this will be our hotel.

We visited Vancouver after our cruise to Alaska. Stayed at L'Hermitage. What a wonderful hotel. They make you feel at home the minute you walk in the door. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. The rooms are absolutely lovely. Everything was perfect. It is a great location, centrally located to the Art Museum, many of the great stores and plenty of interesting restaurants. The breakfast they serve is well worth the price. The staff is so attentive and helpful. Great Hotel I would stay there again and again. Enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: There is construction going on across the street. But we did not hear it. Of course we left the hote...

This is a boutique hotel well-located in Vancouver. We drove in from Whistler and departed on the Skytrain to YVR airport (Skytrain is highly recommended since traffic is really bad going either north or south.). The room was very nice but it was basically a small apartment converted into a hotel room so the space was not very efficient, There was an extra small room (maybe a walk-in-closet) that was not being used and the bathroom was very small. Also it had a full-kitchen which was not really what we needed, especially since the refrigerator was noisy. And the A/C was also noisy. The breakfast was excellent. the pool and spa were very nice but there were not enough places to sit. This would be a great (though perhaps pricey) place to stay for a month, but has some shortcomings for a short stay.

Just 15-mins. from the Rocky Mountaineer's main station and 30-mins. from Vancouver's International Airport, L'Hermitage is strategically located and within walking distance to most restaurants, shopping areas and major attractions including complimentary pick-up and drop-off points/shuttle to two of the most popular attractions in Vancouver (i.e., Capilano Bridge and Grouse Mountain).

The room is beautifully laid out and spacious complemented with modern facilities (I.e., Nespresso, iPod Dock, etc.). The fireplace feature was also a plus. The spacious bathroom provides a huge marble bath, a separate shower and enclosed toilet including daily replenished toiletries.

Hotel facilities, good. Outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi and Fitness Centre small but handy. Breakfast room with separate lounge, TV and fireplace, very good. Outdoor or indoor seating available.

Breakfast repetitive and needs a bit of variety. Room Service providing good food and value for money including wines, excellent. Concierge available and efficient. Overall, staff and service e.g., Room Service's immediate follow-up call for the delay of food and delivered within the promised time frame was commendable and excellent. Complimentary WiFi very handy.

Our home for eight-days, L'Hermitage's location and equally (or even better to some) Deluxe hotels service was such an absolute delight. Popular, advance reservation during peak periods, highly recommended.

Note: Traffic from busy Richard Street and on-going building construction in-front of the hotel not a problem.

The property is centrally located and is a first class hotel. You will not be disappointed. From the friendly valets to the front desk, the staff is super sharp on and top of the smallest request. The hotel is beautifully appointed with gorgeous orchids in the lobby and marble everywhere. It has a small hotel feel to it, although part of a larger residential complex. Our king boutique room featured a large and comfortable bed (unfortunately no down pillow) spacious immaculate bathroom with tub, shower and private stall, 100-channel flat screen TV, expresso machine, refrigerator with glasses, fireplace, sitting area and a private balcony. The concierge was very helpful, the front desk polite and professional and the housekeeping meticulous. The hotel has a decent small fitness center, jacuzzi pool and sauna area. Although we did not have breakfast, there was well appointed executive lounge and bar on the 5th floor. Even though there was construction across the street, it was a quiet stay. Unfortunately, the restaurant was being remodeled so we missed the opportunity to rate the fare. All in all, for the price, we can see why it’s a popular place to stay and highly recommend this hotel when visiting Vancouver.

Room Tip: The fifth floor has some great access to hotel amenities.
