Cosy hotel in the heart of Vancouver. Close to the yachtharbour and convention center. Good rooms and beds with great comfort.
Restaurant with a well supplied bar, and the bartender knows what he does.
60 can dollars away from the airport-30 minutes.

Room Tip: Stay away from the lift-in generals

The outstanding quality of the clean, quiet, nicely appointed hotel room was matched by the caring staff, the on-site restaurant and the location within walking distance of the top sites in Vancouver.

Coast Coal Harbour is in a relatively quiet area... but very convenient. Only 2-3 blocks from the Convention Center and waterfront; easy walking distance to Gastown going one direction and only a few blocks to busy and active Robson street in another direction. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed in a modern mode---we had a corner room with large windows facing two directions for a bright airy feel. The hotel had a very nice gym and a larger than normal business center for a hotel of its modest size. The relatively small restaurant had an excellent dinner offering--the bartender Chris was friendly and knowledgeable. I have stayed in downtown Vancouver 10+ times, at some of the most premium hotels over the years---and given the choice, I would come back here in a flash, particularly since the price value combination was so good.

Room Tip: try for a corner room if available

We stayed at the Coast Coal Harbor Hotel for three nights. We felt the thought out details in our room were excellent. The location is very conveniently located. The staff were there for us to answer questions and made us feel they cared about our stay. We did not eat in the restaurant. We would definitely choose to stay there again should we ever return to Vancouver.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in May 2014 as part of Grand Canadian Tour. The hotel is extremely modern and the rooms are of a high standard and very clean. Ours had floor to floor windows on two sides.Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is ideal for visiting the waterside area. Shops and restaurants are within easy reach. If needed supermarkets are very close by, one of which has an inexpensive restaurant with a varied menu and large portions.
