Nice downtown hotel very close to waterfront park etc. Easy walk to steam town area with shops and restaurants. But be careful you can quickly end up in crackdown area of homeless people etc. the bell guy was great help only thing was not enough valet guys. Saturday night something going on in hotel and had longer then should be wait for car and Sunday morning nothing going on but just one guy working hard. Overall would stay here again.

We were on a graduation holiday with our two daughters, staying in four hotels around BC and Ontario. This friendly, quiet hotel is a stone's throw from the harbour front, close to Stanley Park for walks and cycling and also well situated to walk to most of the city's central sights. Staff were incredibly helpful, toiletries were in proper sized bottles, not diddy little things, and we were not disturbed by anyone else, despite the fact that the hotel was full. We had no time to use the pool, so weren't bothered by its tininiess. Our daughters did make use of the fitness room and were happy enough.
Breakfast is rather expensive, even for the needlessly massive bowl of oatmeal! However, there's a fantastic diner across the street, which does ace brekkies and also sells delicious salads for picnic lunches.

Fabulous Canadian hospitality! The hotel has it all-- superb location near harbor, Stanley Park, Urban Fare Market, Robson Street shopping. The staff-- particularly Sayja-- is so genuinely warm and personable. Housekeeping is on top of their game. The room was spacious and sleek but comfortable. The restaurant "Preston's" offered a wide variety and aside from the hard rock tunes (at times) had great character. So glad we chose the Coast! Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here with my husband and two teenage children after a Disney Cruise. The hotel was close to the cruise terminal, and was within walking distance of a beautiful park. The hotel and surrounding area were clean and we felt very safe even though we were in a large city. The staff at the hotel was excellent! We arrived at around 10 a.m. thinking we'd have to stow our luggage and come back later to get into our room, but they had one ready and were able to take us to our room right away. The man who helped us to our room with the luggage was very knowledgeable about the city and was quite helpful in giving us tips on where to go (and where not to go!). He went above and beyond to help us with directions, etc. and then remembered us when he saw us the next day. He took the time to ask how the previous day had been, ask if we had any questions about the city, and remind us about an area that he thought we should avoid as tourists. We were grateful for his insight! The room was quiet - I never heard any noise from other rooms or the hallway. The view was of a large building across the street, but that didn't bother us because we didn't spend a lot of time looking out the window, and we're from a small town so seeing the city out the window was something different for us!

Green Features: Very environmentally friendly - different bins in the room to sort trash from items to recycle.

I loved this hotel. The location was fabulous. Was a 5 minute walk to bike rental. We stayed 4 nights and then another night the next week. We signed up for their rewards and got free parking for that 5th night. We requested a fridge when we booked (2 weeks before) but it wasn't available until the next night. They upgraded us to a superior room without telling us and it was amazing. The view, the amenities, the blackout shades and the service were all great. We got a free newspaper every morning. The people were very helpful and professional. The valet, Ron, will give you advice and suggestions and Luis at the front desk was extremely helpful! It's right across from an Urban Fare market, starbucks, the Sea Wall, etc. My only gripe was the parking but that's to be expected in a downtown Vancouver hotel. Would definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: The pool is a little lacking. The salon downstairs is terrible!

Green Features: This hotel touts itself as incredibly environmentally-friendly with a master switch and fridges only available upon request. Although, we found it strange that at the water station downstairs, they only had non-recyclable paper cups.

We loved this hotel and couldn't wait to come back. We took a ten day vacation, and stayed in this hotel for four days the first week, and we were excited to come back for one more night the second week. The room was beautiful, large, quiet (superior room). It had two double beds with a peak-a-boo view of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff, especially Luiz was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Any question I had was answered promptly. The room came with a large TV but the weather was so gorgeous, we did not have time to watch. I loved the bathroom with the best showers in the world and the Toto toilet that always worked. I loved the "large" bottles of gel wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, and also small ones if you like. Excellent Starbucks coffee that was easy to use (decaf too). The location can't be beat- right near the Robson St and Stanley park. I also liked the care this hotel took for helping the environment- recycling and composting bins in every room, as well as energy-efficient lighting. We earned enough Coast reward points the first four days, so parking was free the fifth night. We will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the high floor, so that the view is up encumbered by the adjacent hotel next door.

The staff were so friendly, especially Luiz who checked us in and gave us good tips on where to go and what to see. Good restaurants nearby and beautiful views. The room was exceptionally quiet and beds are comfortable. 2 beds in room were double, not queen, but this was as advertised. Airport was about 30 min in a cab and cost $35. The skytrain from/to the airport goes to Waterfront Stn, about a 10 min walk.
