“Next time I'll take the city bus instead”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

We just finished a day of touring Vancouver via the Big Bus. Overall I was disappointed with the experience. We had a hard time figuring out where our first pick up was actually located and we were confused about the payment process, but once we got on the driver held up the tour to get our payment. I do feel the $40 charge is quite steep given how inexpensive it is to use Vancouver's excellent public transit system. Other people who were already on the bus used the opportunity to tell the driver that their tickets did not reflect the correct number of people and days they had paid for. The driver was quite irate but did his, best to get back on schedule. Stanley Park was our first stop and we were VERY glad we took the extra bus around the park - it was the best part of the Big Bus experience. Through the rest of the day as we used the bus the driver did a decent job of being funny and giving us facts about the city, but overall I felt I didn't really learn that much and the service provided was not worth the cost.

“Good way to explore the city”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

This is a must for everybody who is first time in Vancouver. We got our two day tickets right from the driver. Also purchased entry tickets to Capilano Suspension Bridge which allowed us to skip the line up. The ride was good with nice commentaries (recorded English only over speakers). In total we took 3 full trips around the city that helped us get the fell of different areas. Observation was very good with the roof off, but I wouldn't take it on a rainy day because of small windows (it is a modified school bus).

“Go Larry!”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

We did the City tour which was great to get a sense of what where we would like to go while in Vancouver. it was fine and served it's purpose until we changed bus to do the Stanley Park tour. The driver/guide was Larry and his great personality, his authentic interest for the tourists onboard, his knowledge and obvious love for Vancouver and his work turned our tour into a great moment/memory. Thank you :-)

“Don't use them”
Reviewed 31 May 2014 via mobile

We did not use this company because the agent hawking tickets, by Canada Centre was rude and aggressive. He berated another company and mocked me for choosing that company. Then he tried to pick a fight with me. Can you imagine that?!? Steer way clear of these creeps.

“Travel Vancouver City to Whistler and a Detour to see a bear”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

We has a great tour with Mike, our driver/tour guide. He was a wealth of knowledge as we left downtown Vancouver through to Whistler. We stopped for a bathroom and coffee break and also a photo opportunity. On the return as the weather cleared, we stopped at Shannon Falls and did a small detour as time permitted to hopefully sight a bear. To our amazement, we were able to photograph a bear in its natural habitat from the safety of our bus. It was a successful all-round trip. I booked this tour online and was picked up and dropped off from my hotel lobby. Overall, it was a 10 hour trip with 4 hours at Whistler, and time between stops.
