We went to Science World with our four-year-old and an almost one-year-old and it was a big hit. There was lots to see and do and the interactive displays/exhibits were a particular hit. We spent more than three hours here and could have stayed longer easily. We actually spent so much time in the Eureka gallery that we didn't check-out the Kidspace or the outdoor installations (which look like lots of fun for the children we had with us). Even the baby enjoyed crawling around chasing balls and watching the older children. The Bodyworks area was neat too.
The games/puzzles area was mostly more suited to older children than ours and we skipped the Human Sexuality exhibit for the same reason.
Lunch - a fast food version of White Spot - was decent and there was a lot of seating in the restaurant. There is also a large picnic area for those who bring their own meals/snacks.
We got there fairly early (around 10am) so managed to snag a pretty close parking spot. However, if possible, taking the Skytain to Main Street/Science World station is probably the wisest option.
Science World is a fun place to visit for those with small children!
