We went to Science World with our four-year-old and an almost one-year-old and it was a big hit. There was lots to see and do and the interactive displays/exhibits were a particular hit. We spent more than three hours here and could have stayed longer easily. We actually spent so much time in the Eureka gallery that we didn't check-out the Kidspace or the outdoor installations (which look like lots of fun for the children we had with us). Even the baby enjoyed crawling around chasing balls and watching the older children. The Bodyworks area was neat too.

The games/puzzles area was mostly more suited to older children than ours and we skipped the Human Sexuality exhibit for the same reason.

Lunch - a fast food version of White Spot - was decent and there was a lot of seating in the restaurant. There is also a large picnic area for those who bring their own meals/snacks.

We got there fairly early (around 10am) so managed to snag a pretty close parking spot. However, if possible, taking the Skytain to Main Street/Science World station is probably the wisest option.

Science World is a fun place to visit for those with small children!

We went there with our children (8 and 10) at 11 am and had to drag them out at 8.30 pm. There is just so much for them to do, it is incredible. Anything less than 4-6 hours is much too short.

Science world is a wonderful place for children and for those amongst us who are young at heart. It is a very well run, educational, fun place. We spent 5 great hours there and the children, 3 and 7 could have stayed longer. We got the package which included the omni movie.

The staff are pleasant, the place is clean and the variety of activities the kids and adults can view and participate in can easily fill a day. I definitely recommend Science World when visiting Vancouver.

Would not hav.e enjoyed this museum as just an adult visitor, but for kids I would say this is the best science museum I ever visited. Lots of hands-on exhibits and very good science shows

The racy ads promised something "interesting". The actuality was markedly different. The target market for this is somewhere in the "young teens", so if you have a child in that category it is potentially interesting. It misses the mark on so many levels, though, that it requires more explanation than it may be worth: there is, for instance absolutely no indication of what the act of sex actually involves. Lots of "feel good" stuff for those beginning to explore their sexual natures, but too much missing for an adult audience.

For anyone actually interested in the *science* behind sexuality there is virtually nothing. For anyone aging and curious about sex and aging there is virtually nothing. For anyone looking for interesting info behind alternatives within sexuality there is absolutely nothing.

Ignore the numbers on the exhibits - they should probably have been removed as they are simply confusingly random.

We breezed through in about an hour and went on to other areas.
