Cool science museum. Fun interactive exhibits that were informative too. Very big museum, we were not able to everything in a few hours, but did what we wanted to do. Go on a rainy day like we did, but be prepared for crowds.

The initial appeal of Science World came from its uncanny resemblance to Epcot Orlando. It did live up to a similar level of fun! Science World covers a number of topics in different ‘zones’. All areas are interactive in a number of ways. There are challenges set throughout the day, microscopes to look at wildlife and nature exhibits, interactive shows and displays throughout. As we went during the holidays it was very kid heavy but due to the amount of fun offered it did not take long for us to get involved in an activity. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back later that day to watch the ‘Illusions Show’. Worth a visit if you are in the area and have a free day.
Our 8 year old granddaughter loved it at science World
So much to see and learn
Great place on a rainy day
Don't know how many other people are aware that the Olympic village for the athletes from the winter Olympic were just around the corner from the Science World.
We really enjoyed taking our young children here and were really surprised at how involved us adults were too. Lots of super fun activities for all the family and a lovely ride up false creek on the aquabus too
We spent 8 hours here and it went so fast. Our children 4 and 6 loved all the interactive displays. The workshops were fab, including all the children and getting them to think!
Staff were very helpful.
