We are not cruise passengers but still enjoyed walking, people watching, and taking in the views of Canada Place. The area is full of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed both walking and stopping here.

TIP: Go here as either a starting point or a stopping point for walking sightseeing. It's both a great jumping off point for other places and also provides several options for relaxing.

OK! It is a beautiful place with a lot of restaurants close to it. But that's all. Do not save much time to see it. But do not leave Vancouver without seeing it

My adult son and I arrived in Vancouver 2 days prior to our cruise. It was drizzling a bit when we arrived, but we went for a walk to exercise after the long flight and ended up at Canada Place. It was very interesting to look at the cruise ships preparing to leave on the next cruise and to look at the very interesting exhibits inside. We learned a lot about Vancouver and its history from them.

I'm not sure that I would make a special effort to get to the place, but it is a worthwhile visit if in that area of the city.

This was our second visit to Canada Place but this time not a cruise ship passengers.

We were able to enjoy the views from CP and watched a couple of ships being prepared to leave.

There is a great walk around CP with the story of it and name places in the floor.

As it was drizzling on the day we went, we were lucky enough to be able to walk to the end of the pier and able to experience the views almost to ourselves.

Most tours pick up outside CP so be prepared to have to navigate around the area especially when passengers are coming off the ships docked there.

If you like cruise ships and stuff lime that a Saturday is the day to go and you hopefully wont be disappointed.

I had worried about finding my way to the cruise terminal, but when I was there, everything looked so simple. So for others who might be in the same shoe as me, not to worry. Whatever your transport, the place to start is Pan Pacific Hotel. From there, you can either go through the hotel or the car park next to it. There are side walks in the car park for passengers to walk from the entrance of the car park to the cruise terminal. You will know you have arrived at the cruise terminal when you see lots of luggage handling outside the terminal. After settling your luggage, then you proceed to clear immigration and custom (you are departing Canada for USA). Then the cruise check-in. After that, you board the ship.
