“Stanley Park Aquarium”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

We went to Vancouver in the winter and decided to go to the aquarium. It was awesome way to spend a cold day since lots of exhibits are inside. We did see the out door shows such as dolphin and belugas. They were not to long so that we didn't freeze. Lots to see and do god way to spend a colder day.

“Good but slightly expensive”
Reviewed 1 July 2014 via mobile

Ended up at the Vancouver Aquarium on the last day of holiday and queued for 30 mins for a tickets as we got there too early.

Paid fir the tickrts which was about c$29 approx for each adult.

Ok we were not expecting.to see aquatic animals galore however seeing some of the mammals in captivity made us realise how lucky we were to see orca in the wild!

The aquarium staff were very helpful and seeing the animals that were that was an experience. My favourite were the jelly fish for.some reason and being the kids I am finding all the animals from Nemo!

Glad we got there early as the more time inside the busy it got with groups of various sizes.

The aquarium seemed very proactive on providing a brilliant service for those hard of hearing and for those with autism which was brilliant to see. They had sign language staff and were great with everyone.

Make sure to take your camera for some amazing photos too.

Glad we visited but thought entry was a bit pricy however for the experience it was good.

“All new look and new things to see”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

I've been to the aquarium one year ago and I must say its really changed. We had a great time with my kids and stayed there for 3 hours. Parking is outrageously expensive 3,25/h so go by public transportation it will give you a discount. Don't expect a super restaurant but the snack is very good and sandwiches are tasty. If you want to take nice pictures I recommend bringing a tripod because some exhibits are quite dark.

At the time we went, the aquarium was undergoing a refurbishment which meant a lot of areas were closed. Queues for food were ridiculous & when I arrived at the counter they had run out of food and had to starting cooking food from frozen state. Poor!. Loved the baby beluga whale
