Owner description: Yaletown is Vancouver’s trendy and upscale renovated warehouse district. This fresh urban neighbourhood is just an easy walk from the centre of downtown Vancouver or a quick ferry ride from Granville Island. Yaletown’s converted heritage buildings are home to some of city’s top fashion and design shops, as well as cutting edge restaurants and bars. Old loading docks act as giant sidewalks and create a unique setting for wandering, shopping, or lounging at one of the many outdoor patios.

You must visit Yaletown on your next trip to Vancouver,BC. This area is trendy and still has the old world charm about it. You will find boutique stores and wide array of restaurants. Plan to spend time exploring.

I absolutely love Yale Town, and often go for walks around there. If I could afford to live there, it would be my first choice.
Everything is so new and trendy. So many good restaurants, not great if you're on a budget, like me though.

Definitely worth a visit, just to see the really cool apartment buildings.

This old industrial area has been transformed in to chic little boutiques, restaurants, salons and hotels. Delightful place for a stroll, with a wide variety of shops, great selection of restaurants and coffee shops, and just interesting architecture, and parks to enjoy. There is even some theatre in the Round House. This area is easily accessible by the Canada Line.

The heart of Yaletown sits on the waterfront at the south end of Davie Street. The Canada Line Yaletown station is about 25 minutes from the Airport, and within easy walking distance from any downtown hotel. There are more than 20 excellent restaurants, and best of all, the Seawall. Take a 40 minute walk along the Seawall from the south end of Davie Street along False Creek, through Sunset Beach and on to English Bay at the north end of Davie Street. Take an Aquabus ferry over to Granville Island, or walk over to Science World. Rent a bicycle and take the seawall all the way from Yaletown and around Stanley Park and back within 2 hours. The Roundhouse Community Center features a steam locomotive, and Coopers Park offers a waterfront off-leash dog park. David Lam park has several children's playgrounds an plenty of room for sporting activities. The only thing better than visiting Yaletown is living here.
