“Love This Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014

I would go alone just to see Bill Reid's Raven and the First Man. I love how the totem poles say how old the tree is, where it came from and who carved it. It's such a beautiful space and if it's a sunny day, hang out outside.

“TOTEM POLE HEAVEN”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014

I loved every aspect of MOA. The museum layout is superb and demonstrates clearly the history of the nations. I found the way they make totem poles fascinating and couldn't believe the size of some of them, especially the ones outside the building. A must do whilst in Vancouver...:)

“Worth the trip”

We took the bus out from our hotel to UBC to visit the Museum of Anthropology. The museum has a great collection of First Nations artifacts, old and new.

“Great museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2014

Really enjoyed learning more about the totem poles. Was also surprised by the Tibetan items on display. There was a group of school kids here when we were. They were excited but well-behaved. Also ate lunch at a great restaurant on campus. The campus was lovely to walk as well.

“A little boring”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

After a while this museum got boring. A lack of interesting information didn't help with far too many similar objects everywhere. It was interesting but just got too much and ended up just walking past everything quicker than usual.
