Had a wonderful stay for a week in beautiful Vancouver and could not have chosen a better base for our stay. The price/value ratio is amazing. Yes, as some people have noted, the building is older than other Four Seasons hotels, but it is maintained immaculately, staffed superbly and run to the highest standards. I suspect that some of the other reviewers simply live to find fault where none exists. For the price, you can not do better in Vancouver. If you want to pay another 2 or 3 hundred for a newer building and a few more bells and whistles, well who am I to tell you how to spend your money? If you simply want comfort, superb staff, unbeatable location and a lovely environment, you can't go wrong here. We'll be back, for sure.

Room Tip: Corner rooms on higher floors have superb views and are larger.

Green Features: Very eco-friendly. Love the rock on the bed idea :)

I visited with my husband and three year old daughter. This Four Seasons is an excellent choice, an oasis in downtown Vancouver. The staff are marvelous people. They obviously care about what they are doing and it shows. Without exception, the staff were amazing.

The location is very central and puts many good restaurants and attractions withing easy walking distance. There is even an access door directly form the hotel to the mall. The hotel restaurants, Yew, is very good with a lovely elegant but still casual environment. The waiter and staff were very accommodating to my daughter and she spent the next few days asking to go back to Yew again.

The indoor/outdoor pool was perfection. The loungers are awesome and some float noodle / kickstands were provided. Also flavored water and fruit.

There were a couple opportunity for improvement:

There are no coffee makers in the rooms. Although a coffee bar was provided for a period of time in the lobby or pool area I had to go on a morning expedition to find it and that's not something I like to do before having my caffeine. The only option for in-room coffee is room service which would be one exceptionally expensive cup of joe.

The showers in standard rooms have glass doors that only partially enclose them. It is a very European design and looks nice but makes for a cold environment to take a shower in! Yikes. On a much better note, the water gets hot fast; really nice.

Lastly, I found the bed to be a bit soft, but that is just a personal preference.

Some kids activities are also offered for kids age 4 and above. The kids that I saw taking part looked to be having a great time.

Valet, although pricey like anywhere in downtown, is quick and very friendly.

Overall, this is a fantastic property and I would certainly visit again.

The Four Seasons is definitely worth looking at for a stay in Vancouver.

It is in an excerllent position within easy walking distance of Canada Place where you can pick up the shuttle buses to Grouse Mountain and The Capilano Suspension Bridge and also the various harbour cruises etc.

The room we had was on the top floor with great views, a comfortable bed and a reasonable bathroom.

Staff in the hotel were fabulous and the bar is definitely a great place to stop on the way from a day out sightseeing back to your room!

Food in the restaurant is as you would expect and the breakfast offered good value.

This is a nice hotel but not up to the usual Four Seasons Style and standards. The rooms are nice but look like a Hilton rather than a FS. We stayed in a suite which was a nice size. The bed was very, very comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was tiny and didn't have a separate bath and shower like most FS properties. The bathroom looked like it had been quickly updated with a lick of red paint and new shower. As usual, the bath products are fantastic and are supplied generously.

The service was very good at the hotel, especially the Concierge. The gentleman was amazing. He was patient, friendly and organized our whole day out to Whistler finding the best deals and most convenient way to get there and back.

The pool area is fantastic. There is one pool which is both indoor and outdoor with the gym directly opposite.

We love the tea and coffee facilities provided in the mornings before 8am which get you off to a great start and are a nice touch.

We were in Vancouver for three nights the end of July and decided to stay here. A wonderful choice as it is within walking distance of most everything we wanted to do. Of course, Four Seasons hospitality is marvelous and our room, the service and the food were what you would expect. We were very satisfied. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

What a way to start our travels throughout beautiful British Columbia ! We could not have had a more elegant or convenient place to stay. Traveling from the airport on Sky Train (Canada Line) is a breeze. This is also a great pickup point for touring Calipano suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain and for walking to waterfront attractions, including the Prince of Whales tours to Victoria. Ditto for pickup for Rocky Mountaineer train to Whistler and Jasper. All staff members were exceptionally helpful in answering typical tourist questions. Is everyone in Vancouver trained to be gracious and welcoming - it seems that way to me ! This was my 3rd visit to Vancouver, and I hope it will not be my last !

Green Features: You may indicate if your bed linens do not need to be changed during your stay; I like that !

Everybody is very helpful. They have a nice restaurant, and a wonderful spa area. Everything is very clean. No waiting at the reception and the concierge is very helpful. The hotel office the spectacular view across the town.
I'd love to go there sometime in the future again.
