We stayed at this property for three nights and were upgraded to a suite upon check-in which was a pleasant surprise. The suite itself was more than sufficient in terms of floor space, but it felt dated ... the small bathrooms and low ceilings made the ambience rather dowdy and (as with much of the hotel) there was a definite need for more natural light.

None the less, the service was excellent and overall we greatly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant (although very dark) was excellent and the concierge team could not have been more helpful. The swimming pool and outdoor garden area on the 4th floor are delightful if you are visiting during warmer months.

We stayed only one night returning from Vancouver Island and were upgraded to a superior room with a nice view from a top floor. It was very well appointed, very comfortable and quiet.

We also were given nice credits toward dinner at Yew restaurant and for breakfast (which can be used for room service). We found Yew to be a very good restaurant with seafood its specialty. I had the salmon and was very satisfied with the result. The service was quite good and attentive.

We had a room service breakfast and with the large credit were able to splurge. The blueberry pancakes were very good and so were all the other parts of our order. It was delivered on time and with everything we had ordered.

Room Tip: We were on the top floor and the end of the hallway where the room is a little larger and quiet.

I was very excited to find that we were booked into the Four Season's Hotel the night before my Princess cruise. This hotel is a typical stop for Princess guests. A nice hotel in downtown Vancouver. It sits above a mall. Our room was nice and clean. I was offended with the bottles of water that were $ 8.00 a piece. I prefer to drink bottled water when traveling. Fortunately there are two drugstores on the next blocks from the hotel. We did try the hotel restaurant, not knowing the city or where to go to eat. It was very nice and good food, but $9.00 for a bowl of quinoa mush was way too much. A complementary coffee would have been very nice. The view from our 8th story room looked over the roof below and into the buildings across the street.
I didn't see anything special to justify the price of this hotel.
It is 4 blocks from the pier, water area, which we weren't aware of until we took the transfer bus to the ship.

Dear finesail,

Thank you for your note regarding your stay at Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver.

I am so pleased to hear that you appreciated the quality of our guest rooms. Yes, our hotel is located four blocks away from the pier, however, we are centrally located in the heart of the downtown with everything at an arms reach. I am thrilled to learn that you enjoyed the overall food at YEW seafood + bar but disappointed to hear that you did not find the quinoa appetizing.

Thank you for take the time to share your thoughts.

Kind regards,

Joerg Rodig
Hotel Manager

Excellent downtown location. Room was large and well appointed. Room service was pretty good, not spectacular. Overall decor of the hotel is not especially warm or charming. Love the indoor into outdoor pool area, though building blocks sun.

This could become my favourite Vancouver hotel. The rooms are very nice, the beds are wonderful and the staff are amazing. This is a very friendly hotel. The food in Yew is very good and it's the place for a business lunch in the city.
