We booked this hotel on the last night of our stay in Vancouver. One of the reasons for booking this hotel was that there would be floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city and a photo of the room we thought we would get was also on Booking.com.When we arrived our windows werenot floor to ceiling and we the views were not as expected. We complained to reception and showed a copy of our Booking.com invoice with the photo etc. We were made to feel that we were complaining over nothing .We were told that we could have another room but we would have to wait indefinitely for it.As this was our last day in Vancouver we wanted to enjoy the city and not be bogged down with complaining about rooms and moving etc so we left it. I didn't find the receptionist helpful or friendly.
I don't think it would be fair to review this hotel with a lower score as the actual room was lovely, comfortable and spotless. The reception staff in the morning were lovely, chatty and friendly.
We were very disappointed with getting a room so different from what is advertised on Booking.com. There is obviously miscommunication between the hotel and Booking.com as to what room is actually being sold.More
