We were in a Museum Room on the 5th floor which proved remarkably quiet given that it looked out onto busy Robson Street with its many restaurants not least the delightful Joe Fortes. One of the larger rooms on our 3 week tour, it provided amply for our luggage whilst the king sized bed was particularly comfortable. Early morning tea was delivered to the minute of the requested time - what a delight. The staff were extremely helpful, but it was a bit disappointing that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment not least as we hoped to get them to cook a salmon caught in Campbell River the pevious evening. This may have also impacted on breakfast which provided a hot and cold buffet in a conference room but which was average food other than excellent blueberry pancakes and very much self service . Might have made a 5 otherwise!

The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and adequately sized. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is very well - placed: on Robson (noise not an issue) in downtown and within easy walking distance of Stanley Park

Room Tip: higher up, better

We have stayed for 10 nights in this hotel and on all counts we have been very impressed. The room was very spacious and from the 4th floor we had a view onto Robson Street and between the buildings a view to the sea. Views wouldn't be as good lower down. We were lucky to have our breakfast included as the restaurant was being renovated. The breakfast was great quality and the staff were friendly. Each morning we were treated with complimentary coffee delivered to our room at a time we indicated:)
The location is great for shopping, 2 km walk to Stanley Park, many public buses, lots of restaurants to cater for all budgets.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Vancouver for a short or extended stay for its excellent location, value for money and great service.
The art theme throughout the hotel was refreshing.

This hotel is rated a 4 star hotel and should be listed s a 2. The rooms were not nice at all. Everything from stained carpet, dated/chipped furniture, torn wall paper, chipped paint, and actual blood and boogers on the wall next to the night stand. Furthermore, there was no bar, restaurant, or room service. When you pull up their website you see an entirely different picture....of course. My wife and I would have been better off at Motel 6....really. It was that bad.

The staff was extremely nice, however. They did offer us free parking for the two nights and 2 breakfast vouchers. Even with that I would have much rather got what I paid for. Spending $150 per night and getting this value, isn't what I paid for.

Room Tip: Verify that the hotel is under refurbishment before booking. They won't offer that up until you've booked and are stuck.

Found this on the internet, booked one night prior to our cruise. Well worth it. Very nice staff, rooms, great location (near shopping, restaurants, the harbor).

The regular restaurant was closed for remodeling so they provided us a WONDERFUL complimentary breakfast in the morning- buffet style. It was an unexpected treat.

There were A LOT of environmentally friendly practices in this hotel which thrilled my college age children.

I'd give them 4.5 if I could and I would highly recommend this hotel.
