St. Regis Hotel in Vancouver is like finding a little 5 star hotel in the pulse of the city. Rooms immaculate, beds and sheets super comfy, staff welcoming, art on each floor beautiful ~ worthy to take the steps up to each floor and tour the uniqueness of this little gem.

Room Tip: Ask for what you need! Staff accommodating and personal.

The St. Regis continues to be our Vancouver hotel of choice for value and service. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the executive suites; spacious, clean and well appointed. We highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Stayed at the St. Regis for 2 nights and loved every minute of it. Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, and courteous. It appeared that the hotel and the room had been updated and the little things in our room - that make a hotel stay enjoyable - were all there: heated bathroom floor, quality sheets, fluffy towels, fast (free) WiFi, satellite TV, free bottled water, a personal handwritten-greeting, and chocolates on the pillow. The included breakfast was made to order and of restaurant quality - not the "hotel express" so many motels offer. It was delicious, hot, and more than enough. Located near Gastown we walked there (just a few blocks) each night and enjoyed nearby attractions. The parking was a bit funky, but it was underground in a secure parking lot a short walk from the hotel. Tip: If you stay here, there is a 3 minute parking spot in front of the hotel. Park, turn on the car's hazard lights and run in. They will take your luggage and have you park your car before you check in.

Strengths
1. Location, location, location!!!!
- situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, accessible via Canada Line rail from the YVR airport (fare: $7.75 pp) in 25 minutes. Get off from the City Centre station.
- steps away from main downtown attractions. No need to rent a car if you are touring key Vancouver spots.
- Granville Skytrain station is next door.
- Tim Horton's infront of the hotel is open 24/7.
2. Beautiful rooms
- all rooms were newly renovated in 2008, which can rival or even better than the best and luxurious 5-star hotels.
- bed and linens are of topnotch quality, bathrooms are spa-like
3. Free Breakfast
- customizable hot, hearty and healthy breakfast is included - what a real treat! It is the most important meal of the day. Once you have a full, great breakfast - you will have all the energy and you will save money too in eating less for the rest of the day.
4. Free wireless internet (excellent reception) + free long distance anywhere in the world
5. Free Gym access at Steve Nash
- while gym is outside of the hotel (1 block away), gym facility is excellent - perhaps the best gym facility given to hotel guests I have ever experienced!
5. Personalized service
- you will never get this from a big chain hotel. Concierge services are exceptional (especially Gary Block).

Downside
1. Rooms with no view
- understandable because it is only 6 to 7 stories high
2. Parking is expensive at around $30 per day (incl taxes)
- no need to rent a vehicle because location is very desirable for most downtown and Vancouver tourist attractions. You can literally walk anywhere in the downtown core or take the Skytrain next door (Granville station).

Room Tip: 1. If you need to park and don't require in and out privileges, don't use the hotel's p...

Just back from a night in the city. We stayed at St. Regis Hotel for the first time and have found a new "favorite"! The hotel is beautifully appointed, the staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast that is included with your stay is delicious and large! We will be back.

Great location. Close to pacific centre mall. 20mins taxi ride from airport. Bit disappointed scaffolding outside windows. Concierge on days was lovely, breakfast server also. However upon arriving (midnight) there was confusion as my sister wanted to check in before us, arriving 5hours earlier on a flight and this seemed to cause some confusion. Hotel very clean. Bathroom lovely. Hotel rooms. Little small. But very nice.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. We took the Canada Line Rail from YVR Airport (cost $7.75 per person) and took the City Centre exit (took about 25 minutes). It was about 5 minutes walk from the station exit to the hotel.

Our room was in the first floor. It was spacious and clean. There is Starbucks conveniently next to the hotel building. Also, Tim Hortons and A&W across the street.

The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. We complaint about the noise and they kindly moved us to the suite room (we appreciate it!).

Overall, we had a great experience here and would definitely come stay at this place if we visit Vancouver again.
