We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Vancouver. From the moment we were greeted at the door to the moment we left we were made to feel special and valued guests! The customer care is second to none... in fact Eddie at reception always remembered our names and appeared to take a genuine interest in where we going etc Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff there.
Our room was large with lovely decoration and spotless! Yes there was some noise from the road outside but I expected this being in the middle of a busy city. It didn't prevent us from sleeping.
The breakfast each morning was varied and plentiful and a welcome start to our busy sightseeing days.

i would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again .

Our stay at the St. Regis was our 1st time here in Vancouver(April 26-29th) we arrived from Victoria (St.Regis was far more attentive than the famous hotel we stayed at in Victoria) by ferry and hopped onto the skytrain, the stop is a block from the hotel. The staff and the whole team at the hotel are incredible (especially the front desk). We even bought our trolly tour tickets from the front desk and by surprise, we got 2 days instead of 1 day by buying them thru the hotel. Breakfast was sit down with 3 choices....there is always a bowl of apples with all the newspapers to read.....loved it! We were upgraded to a King suite since all of the regular King rooms were taken...loved it! We only used public transportation during our stay (skytrain and bus $2.75each way-easy to figure out). It was such a pleasure to stay in this small hotel.....wish we had the same small hotel with the detailed service here in California. Even the flower boxes outside the entry door were well kept-very cute hotel! PS-liked having confirmations and arrival info by email.
The Snyder's - California,USA

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor and used the stairs - elevator is a bit slow.

I have recommended this hotel to colleges as an option to much more expensive hotels in the area. Rooms are small but nice, and the hotel has a nice boutique feeling to it. The fact that they give passes to the Steve Nash gym also makes it attractive to gym rats like me. However, this time I was disappointed when I opened the shower door and a nasty odour came out of it. It was clear that whoever had to clean the shower either forgot or chose to ignore it. It took 10 minutes of piping hot water and soap to clean the stench. Unfortunately I had been out working out and came back at night and was not in a position to go downstairs and complain. Also, because I was staying one night I decided to let it go this time. Would I stay again? Not sure now but if I did I'd check the shower before. Having said this everything else is great, breakfast is excellent and the location is pretty convenient.

Please accept my sincere apology for the unpleasant experience.

As part of our regular maintenance cycle, we perform a process we call “bombing the drains” in which we flush the system with a strong chemical to ensure the smooth functioning of the plumbing. These chemicals do produce an odour, and we can only assume that the drain was not adequately flushed after the chemicals were used.

We have passed your feedback along to our maintenance and housekeeping staff and have asked them to make this point of emphasis moving forward.

Once again, please accept my apology for this oversight and thank-you for bringing this to our attention.

Don’t hesitate to contact me directly should you have any further concerns regarding your stay.

From time of arrival to departure staff are attentive and assist with travel directions, attractions etc. Free breakfast is adequate and well presented. Rooms large with good lightning from large windows.
