Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance from Skytrain, Roger's Center, Stanley Park, and shopping on Robson and nightlife on Granville Street. This hotel is one of the stops for the free shuttle to Capillano Suspension Bridge and for the numerous hop on hop off tours.

Great location in downtown Vancouver near great shopping strip.
1 hot night the air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool but everything else was fabulous. We paid for a high level room and had a great view. Plenty of space and good staff.
We booked in early and they were happy to accomodate us doing so.

Room Tip: Choose a high level room. I think it was $10 more but great views and can't hear traffic down b...

Ideal location in the hearth of downtown vancouver just in the main road for shopping and close to stanley park. Huge room with a fantastic view. Very spacious and confortable. Bathroom undersized for the room but very clean. Best view from a higher floor.

My daughter and I stayed in Vancouver for a few days in August. On our arrival the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was ready when we arrived at 10am. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I often find hotel rooms lack in lighting, but our room had adequate lighting in both the main room and bathroom. The hotel is in a great location, easy walking to restaurant, bars, shopping, English Bay, Stanley Park, the skytrain and many other places of interest. We would stay there again without hesitation and highly recommend it. The price was extremely reasonable.

Room Tip: Corner rooms usually provide a good view from more than one angle and are generally larger in size.

The Blue Horizon is in a great location on Robson Street, amongst a load of shops, restaurants, cafes and walking distance to the Vancouver Art Gallery and the Canada Line metro (though it is about 6 blocks walk, so be warned!). If you're planning on renting a car there is an Avis in walking distance too.
The room was massive - we got upgraded to two double beds and really appreciated the space after New York city. Bathroom was fine, and the shower was pretty good. Everything seemed new and clean. There was some exercise equiptment (a treadmill and maybe a cross traininer) and a lap pool and spa but we didnt use either...the spa looked on the older side...
The cafe below (Inlets) was especially great for breakfast, and I highly recommend the crab cakes eggs benedict - every mouthful was amazing! Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Room Tip: I would choose a room with a noted good view of the city - we had one and it came with a balcony and...

We visited Vancouver for a couple of days before heading up to Whistler. We received a room on the 26th floor with an excellent view. I think it's been stated before, but the rooms all have corner views. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room - probably the largest two queen room I've stayed in. The beds were comfortable and the room clean and up-to-date. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was perfect as we were able to visit our primary sites (Stanley Park, Canada Place and Gastown), also there are plenty of good restaurants a quick step away. The pool/spa was very small and the jacuzzi was out-of-service but it was enough for my son to play in one night. Overall, great place to stay.

Perfectly located business class hotel,, although we were here in full tourist mode, great for Stanley Park & the harbour. The hotel has few rooms on each floor making your stay quiet & peaceful given its size. Service was great at check in, shopping on your doorstep with great bars & restaurants a stones throw away, Gas Town is in walking distance too!

A good value, efficient & tasty breakfast in Inlets Cafe. We would recommend this hotel based on value for money in Vancouver which seemed generally quite expensive hotel wise.
