Good hotel, clean, central, fairly good value for the middle of August. Good sized standing balconies (although we paid less for the Rosedale on Robson, which wasn't as pricey. Not so central but great views, spacious rooms and balconies with many of the rooms)

Close to Stanley Park, which was great for us, lots of places to eat nearby and the hotel restaurant was fine for breakfast. Staff efficient and housekeeping very effective and discreet (we never saw or heard them!!!).

Rooms were small compared to all the others we stayed in on our three week trip in Alberta and BC. It didn't bother us too much, but I felt the bathroom was a problem. My husband is 6'4" and showering for him was awkward. It was tiny and the ceiling was very low. And to claim a pool, which is really an enlarged bathtub is misleading!

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a view of English Bay and the Mountains. Being away from the elavators is tri...

My son and I stayed here for 1 week in July......fabulous location, clean rooms, nice pool and very friendly staff. Room had 2 queen beds with windows all around. We overlooked English Bay on one side and downtown Van on the other.
From this hotel you can walk everywhere!

We paid for a girls vacation location is great if you are into the tourist trap everything is over priced the hotel was alright except for the dirty sheets with stains on them who knows maybe from the last customer that stayed there and while checking to make sure we left nothing behind we found someones dirty clothing under the bed which consumed of dirty pads and used tampex we complained they did not care I wonder how clean the bedding was as we all got rashes and little itchy patches on our skin stay away get a B&B instead your body will love you

Room Tip: Do not stay here

This hotel priced at a reasonable rate and in a great area in the downtown area. Caught the Vancouver Trolley in front of the hotel and was able to ride all day (Hop-on-off) for sight seeing. Arrived early (10:00 AM) but was able to get a room with a great view. Room was modern, clean and staff was more than helpful. Food and service at the resturant was good and there are lots of other places to eat in the immediate area.

Room Tip: Best views are the higher floors.

We were in vancouver for a wedding and shopping,we stayed in a 2 queen bed room on the 25th floor, the room had a balcony and good views of the city and some ocean views, the bathroom was a typical hotel bathroom, firm mattresses and soft pillows. the decor (striped carpets!) was a little odd but not too off putting.

The staff were excellent and made extra effort to ensure our comfort and enjoyment in the hotel
The hotel is not far (only a few blocks... About 5) from skytrain and close to trendy shopping and the heart of downtown vancouver

Parking was extra 16$ and plentiful, but the ceilings were extremely low and the spaces were awkward often having narrow two way areas with blind corners that made us really anxious,i would not reccomend the parking toany one with 4 wheel drive we were driving a regular truck andbarely made the height requirements

over all I would stay here again without a vehicle

Room Tip: the higher floors offer great city views

We arrived after an overnight flight from Honolulu to this downtown Vancouver hotel.
It was recommended by our travel agent, and she gave it high marks. They allowed us to check in on our arrival at the hotel (due to availability of our room) and upgraded us to a suite. The hotel has beautiful rooms (all corners with views of the city scape and the water surrounding VanC)
Our friends meeting us there were given a room close to ours and they were very happy with their accomodations also. The trip frrom the hotel to the port for our Alaska trip was an easy ride via cab, which the front desk ordered for us.
The service and the stay were 5 stars all the way.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms here, but a higher floor gives better views of the water. All rooms and sui...
