“A Hotel on Robson Street Centre Vancouver”
Reviewed 6 September 2013

We were suggested this hotel by our cruise specialist.Further reviews on various travel sites also spoke very positive for the hotel so we booked this about three months in advance. This is a three star property but due to location it is sought after hotel as this is fully booked most of time in advance.
The location is perfect ( middle of Robson Street in Vancouver Downtown. Rooms are really big /clean and each room has it balcony giving nice view of downtown.Check in and check out was smooth and staff helpful to explain if you have any query as tourist.Canada Place was just few minutes away for us to board the cruise.
We will recommend this hotel for downtown stay and if happen to be in Vancouver again will like to use the same hotel again. The only caution that you should book the room as soon as possible as we found that rooms in this hotel go fast.

Room Tip: try to get the room at higher floors on front side of the Hotel

Good hotel, clean, central, fairly good value for the middle of August. Good sized standing balconies (although we paid less for the Rosedale on Robson, which wasn't as pricey. Not so central but great views, spacious rooms and balconies with many of the rooms)

Close to Stanley Park, which was great for us, lots of places to eat nearby and the hotel restaurant was fine for breakfast. Staff efficient and housekeeping very effective and discreet (we never saw or heard them!!!).

Rooms were small compared to all the others we stayed in on our three week trip in Alberta and BC. It didn't bother us too much, but I felt the bathroom was a problem. My husband is 6'4" and showering for him was awkward. It was tiny and the ceiling was very low. And to claim a pool, which is really an enlarged bathtub is misleading!

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a view of English Bay and the Mountains. Being away from the elavators is tri...

My son and I stayed here for 1 week in July......fabulous location, clean rooms, nice pool and very friendly staff. Room had 2 queen beds with windows all around. We overlooked English Bay on one side and downtown Van on the other.

Room Tip: Do not stay here

This hotel priced at a reasonable rate and in a great area in the downtown area. Caught the Vancouver Trolley in front of the hotel and was able to ride all day (Hop-on-off) for sight seeing. Arrived early (10:00 AM) but was able to get a room with a great view. Room was modern, clean and staff was more than helpful. Food and service at the resturant was good and there are lots of other places to eat in the immediate area.

Room Tip: Best views are the higher floors.

We were in vancouver for a wedding and shopping,we stayed in a 2 queen bed room on the 25th floor, the room had a balcony and good views of the city and some ocean views, the bathroom was a typical hotel bathroom, firm mattresses and soft pillows. the decor (striped carpets!) was a little odd but not too off putting.

The staff were excellent and made extra effort to ensure our comfort and enjoyment in the hotel
The hotel is not far (only a few blocks... About 5) from skytrain and close to trendy shopping and the heart of downtown vancouver

Parking was extra 16$ and plentiful, but the ceilings were extremely low and the spaces were awkward often having narrow two way areas with blind corners that made us really anxious,i would not reccomend the parking toany one with 4 wheel drive we were driving a regular truck andbarely made the height requirements

over all I would stay here again without a vehicle

Room Tip: the higher floors offer great city views
