Great location for exploring Vancouver. Staff really helpful (special thanks to Concierge Matthew who's enthusiasm and helpful nature was really appreciated).
Great views from rooms and lots of space. Note no room service although nice on site restaurant.
Would recommend.

When we checked in, I asked if we had a view. The clerk checked, moved us to a higher floor, said she would move us again if we weren't happy--and then called up to the room to make sure we were happy! The room was fine, nothing special, but our tiny balcony with impressive view, the thoughtful staff, and the terrific location made this a stand-out.

Room Tip: Get a view!

Stayed in a family suite at the Blue Horizon. Plenty of room for a family of four, comfortable beds, excellent daily service in the room. The hotel is convenient to all of downtown. I found the front desk staff to be overworked and young - meaning they were constantly on the phone with customers when I was trying to ask for directions or restaurant recommendations, and they were young, inexperienced and unable to recommend any kind of restaurant in the area. There is a concierge-type person available on some days at some times - Oliver was very helpful. The staff was always polite, courteous and friendly, but they need a few older, experienced people who know the city well to round out the concierge service. The first night of our stay we had a horribly loud noise of scraping metal all night long. This continued the second night. I had a discussion with the front desk, and the general manager promised me in the morning that they would fix the cause of the problem - which they thought had already been fixed - the service elevator. No more noise after that, and the manager comped us one night for our lack of sleep - very generous and service-oriented. Overall a fine hotel.

Room Tip: family suites are comfortable and roomy.

Nice little place for breakfast. Good food and good service. Hotel looked nice and Boutique , but didn't stay here. Excellent breakfast menus. Try it out to cure a hangover. This is long enough.
Easy to spot on Robson.

Room Tip: didn't stay there, this for in house restaurant

We stayed on the 27th floor with a great view. The hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms, very friendly service, fair prices for being right in the middle of the city, and a fine location. You can walk everywhere. Internet is free and there is always someone willing to help with directions, restaurant suggestions or activities. The restaurant, Abode, attached to the hotel serves very reasonable breakfasts and service is efficient.

Stayed here for the second time after a trip through the Rockies! It was my bday and let the front desk know: they then had a cake and card waiting in my room and organised a room on the 28th floor. I was travelling by myself so was so impressed and appreciative! Thanks heaps Paul. I will recommend this hotel!

I have stayed at this location numerous times. It has recently undergone a renovation. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The beds are comfortable....no issues there. We normally book a room above the 12th floor with a view of the harbor. But as this was a last minute random road trip a standard room was only available on the 3rd floor. We thought noise might be an issue as Robson Street is always busy. Fortunately that was not the case.
The staff is pleasant and then of course there was high energy Matthew...always trying to please.
The restaurant on site is good. We had breakfast there both days. Good service with a smile.
The only negative for staying at this hotel is entering from the parking level. If you are bringing in your luggage it is a bit of a confusing maze with stairs. I heard a number of quests saying they were confused about entering from the back. Kind of a weird set up. All in all though we enjoy this hotel......book a room with a water view if you can. Location is excellent!!!
