The renovated hotel is a perfect spot to stay and discover Vancouver. Rooms are very clean, personel very friendly and location excellent. I will recommend this one.

I booked this after searching for a place downtown that would accept my dog and wasn't too stuffy or boring. This place is great! Very youthful, modern accents and graphics throughout the hotel, bright colors, a fun courtyard and lots of great little touches make this a hotel we'll come back to again and again. The parking is a huge plus compared to other downtown hotels where you have the hassle of adjacent parades. I parked in the courtyard and could see my car from my room, very comforting and easy to access down just two flights of stairs. The room was great, comfy bed, very quiet. My only complaint is there was quite a strong smell of cigarette smoke in my room when I first came in. It is a non smoking hotel but obviously someone didnt get the memo. Still, it wasn't enough to cast a shadow on our stay. We will definitely be back.

Great stay at this refurbished retro motel. Free Nespresso. Great room, though some noise (not a lot). Really good bed and pillow. Great location for Davie St. Friendly staff. Great price. Highly recommended.

My sister and I stayed here last year in the fall for 3 nights and LOVED IT! It's a super cool, hip hotel in an awesome area. We loved our room, the staff, the decor, the courtyard, the location etc. etc. I really can't say enough about our stay. We loved all the little details including the Nespresso coffee machines in the room (my favourite). The price was right too! I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

We were in town for a convention and we got lucky enough to be a half block away. Our room was perfect, great beds, very clean and quiet. Great service and a good feel to the place, we will be back next year! funky little place doing it right..

Room Tip: room 420 is tucked in the corner so does not hear alot of city noise....

Stayed here for 10 days and would highly recommend it. Lovely comfortable rooms with free wifi, espresso maker, mini fridge, ipod dock and great TV. Very quiet, and a nice leafy courtyard if you want to relax and read. Buses at your door, a 15 min walk (or 5 min bus trip) to the Skytrain, or an easy stroll to the Granville Island ferry, it is well-placed for sightseeing. I was also attending a convention at the Sheraton, which it is next door to.

A great range of eating places, and bars, as well as some great nightlife on Granville Street, or the gay Davie Street are all handy. And a 7/11 and Blenz coffee shop next door (that always seemed to be open) were great when coming home in the wee hours.

There's a great sense of style and a lovely playfulness here - like the sign in the bathroom saying "the best hotel toiletries you've ever stolen"! Note this is not a hotel, so if you need room service, its not the place for you. Helpful staff, and bikes available for the energetic make this a place I would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: I stayed on the courtyard level and on the 4th floor. Courtyard can get some noise if people are han...
