Only spend one or so nights here but overall a brilliant hotel.
The location is brilliant, extremely close to the city centre and a walking distance to all shopping areas.
The lobby was nice, as were the rooms. There was a Starbucks in the lobby which was convenient but it was pretty busy all the time.
Our stay here was basically without faults EXCEPT our safe broke with all of our passports and travel documents in there. It took about 3 guys an hour to fix the safe all up and get our passports and boarding passes out, but we still made it in time for our flight.
My advice would be to take out passports/boarding passes the morning of your departure, just in case there is an issue with the safes as you will then have enough time to spare in case there are any issues.

Went for a night's stay on the Hyatt Club Floor. Pretty average room for a club level type room. The balcony was the only outstanding feature. The view was phenonmenal! The Club Lounge was good. Very friendly, and helpful staff. Good bfast offerings. Gym was small as was pool.
Our room was very noisy from people above us. Again, did not expect that we would hear everything above us. Very disappointing.
Location is excellent. Starbucks in the lobby. Easy access to downtown.

We had stayed at the particular Hyatt property after our last Alaskan cruise over 5 years ago and would not have recognized it as the same hotel. With over 20 years as a Hyatt Gold Passport member, we were able to book a beautiful harbor view room on the Regency Club floor and enjoy all the amenities of this beautifully refurbished hotel right in the central downtown area, close to all the famous area attractions. The staff here is exceptional. We were greeted by smiles and welcoming hellos from the entire staff during our short stay. The rooms are very spacious and modern, with very comfortable beds and bright open windows with full black out drapes for a good night's sleep. Sure, the towels could have been fluffier and soft, but I wouldn't knock a star off and reduce it to only very good. High tech elevators are quick and will direct you to a specific elevator with a swipe of your room key. Rooms and room safes work electronically as well, and will only open with your key. Overall, I would not hesitate to book this Hyatt property again on my next visit to Vancouver, as sometimes having such friendly and welcoming staff makes all the difference in the world for even a short vacation stay in a foreign country.

Room Tip: Harbor side rooms on the higher floors have great views

We are a retired couple who stayed here on a post cruise stopover. We were given a superb welcome by Andrew at front desk and our bellman Luther the best, so,helpful and only too pleased to,help us make fhe best of. our two night stay. Room was excellent. Attention to every travellers detail. Plenty of facilities for everyone including wifi and internet, good restaurants and comfortable lobby areas. One of the best City hotels we've ever used. Everyone proud to promote this City. Will definitely recommend !!

Hotel was a fine one in the middle of a very desirable area in the downtown of Vancouver. We enjoyed our brief stay and found the accommodations lovely. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. I enjoyed the meals in the restaurant very much.

Room Tip: try to stay on the highest floors, due to traffic noise.

Located in the heart of downtown. The interiors have been modernized from the lobby, elevators, and suites. Some rooms have a view of the harbour and mountains. There is a starbucks in the lobby, and it is next door to shooping and the metro.

Right in the middle of downtown Vancouver this hotel is close to - everything. Check in took seconds with my Hyatt club account and we were upgraded to the 33rd floor - what a view! The suite was perfect, separate bedroom, bathroom, lounge area, bar with stocked Kuerig coffee maker, and huge balcony overlooking the city. Room #3307 is amazing! Hotel bars are super friendly and reasonable though they can't stay open as long as the local clubs. Remember your in the center of the biggest city on the West Coast so restaurants, bars and clubs are everywhere.

The hotel staff are super friendly and knowledgeable so use them! Only down side to this hotel is the street access of Burrard St and parking - it can be a bit of mystery. As part of a convention centre, hotel and mall your awesome parking spot may drop you in the wrong place.

Room Tip: Get your Hyatt club card and score and upgrade! 33 floor is amazing!
