Growing up on the west side of Vancouver, I can remember being able to see the Sylvia from our living room as one of the tallest buildings but had never stayed there.
I was not expecting a large room but was very pleased with the upgraded bathroom, the very comfortable easy chair (and FREE WIRELESS) and the wonderfully upgraded mattress and bedding. The only thing missing was an in-room coffee machine.
It was wonderful being able to walk out of the hotel and be able to stroll along the seawall to 2nd beach...then being able to leave the car while we walked to the downtown core (only a 20 minute walk) for a meeting.
Very accommodating staff and excellent and affordable breakfast menu selections. We will be back.More
