As i pulled up in front of the hotel i liked the exterior and once in the lobby i liked it even more! The front desk person was really nice! we talked about his halloween costume.....Then i made my way to the elevators .....they are a bit slow but love the fact that its not key card access...i hate those .The room was nice and spacious and really liked the full kitchen and everything you need to cook in the cabinets. The bathroom was very clean along with the carpets ,some of the furniture was missing some laminates and a bit on the old side but i did not mind much as i paid a very good price thru a travel site, plus you are close to everything! Would i stay there and recommend it? Yes Yes and yes!

I stayed with my spouse recently at this hotel and enjoyed the hospitality. The front driveway and lobby entry is currently under construction but the bell-staff were exceptional in assisting guests with luggage and navigating the hotel parking. Desk staff very polite and helpful also. The rooms are large with enough room for 4 adults in the 1-bedroom suites. Kitchenettes were clean and well stocked with good coffee and tea. The pool/steam room may use some upgrading soon but that is the only draw-back i found to this nice hotel. The lobby coffee shop was good too.

Room Tip: The Burrard Street (front door) side of hotel is bit noisier at night with street traffic. May want to ask for room on west side (rear) of hotel if you're a light sleeper

On very short notice, we found ourselves in Vancouver to watch a BC Lions football game. The night before we left home, I made a reservation at the Century Plaza Hotel & Spa in Vancouver. The booking was made painlessly.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by a most friendly customer service gal at the front desk. She cheerfully got us registered even though we were rather early in the afternoon, and she even gave us an upgrade to a suite! The spacious room was meticulously made up and extremely clean, with a full kitchenette included. It was located on the eighth floor and on the side street, well away from the busy traffic noise. The location was within easy walking distance to sports and arts venues, theatres, and the chic shopping area known as Robsonstrause.
We loved our stay and wished we could stay longer to enjoy all the amenities this hotel has to offer, but our schedule would not permit it. We will, however, be back to enjoy this hotel whenever we travel down to Vancouver again.

Room Tip: Try for a room on the side street or the back of the hotel so that you are not bothered by the traffic noise on the busy Burrard Street.

We have stayed at the Century Plaza three times now.. The location is great for downtown Vancouver, rooms are very spacious, have a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, great sized beds.. Some have a complete kitchen however we had a studio this time and was adequate for a short stay. There is a coffee bar downstairs (Beyond Café) serving lots of lovely good priced food and drinks. A pool and spa also on site. The only small complaint is that the rooms are a little noisy. Traffic is constant and the fact it doesn't appear to be double glazed means it's noisy however you don't notice it after a while. We have stayed in other hotels in Vancouver and this one is one I would recommend for good location, helpful staff, lovely rooms and fabulous value for money.

Although it is foggy this week in Vancouver, the glimpses of brightness show a great view from my hotel room. Room is large and clean with a full kitchen. They even have actual glass drinking glasses in the bathroom, I hate flimsy plastic glasses.

Room was quiet, slept with the window open which is a bonus for me,

The hotel restaurant 'Beyond Restaurant' had great appetizers to order upon my late arrival and a full range of breakfast items, including many healthy choices.

I would stay here again

Room Tip: They have a pool and steam room but no gym. Didn't use them as I was just here overnight
