My wife and I stayed here for 8 days in early November. It's hard to beat this hotel for value. Rates were very good (we booked via a travel site); location is excellent: the Hop-on Hop-off bus (buy the two day pass) stops at the hotel, and most attractions in downtown Vancouver are within walking distance; Burrard St is a major artery for public transport (e.g. you can get the direct bus to University of British Columbia/the Museum of Anthropology or to the waterfront almost in front of the hotel); there are supermarket, convenience and liquor/wine stores less than five minutes away; and Robson Street shopping is only a 10 minute walk.
The room (ours was on the 21st floor) was superb: spacious; a fully equipped kitchen; a generous sitting area; reliable temperature control.
Front desk Staff were excellent and room cleanliness was of the highest standard.BTW on your trip back to the airport take a taxi to the Yaletown Canada Line Station and take the train to the airport. Less than $10.
