I reserved this hotel as a convention overflow hotel, and since it said it sleeps 3, we invited a third person to share. Then we were charged extra and given vouchers for parking and breakfast that we couldn't use.

My family and I stayed here for three nights in August.

We knew it was a three star hotel and we're used to 4-5 star hotels but even so the decor and state of our suite was poor.

The size of the room was excellent but it had broken tiles in bathroom and kitchen, marks on the walls, stale smell everywhere, dirty fridge, dirty cups and kitchen cupboards that didn't close properly.

The hotel is centrally located so we didn't eat there. We had breakfast at Joeys Diner, a short walk away and dinner downtown.

The concierge was really helpful and to be fair the lobby and restaurant looked smart and clean.

The hotel desperately needs a refurb starting on floor 1.

Overall a very nice hotel. We had a small suite with a kitchenette which was great. The downside was that the bathroom was a little small with no counter space.
Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.
The spa is fantastic! We received a voucher for money off services at the spa, my daughter took advantage of it and couldn't say enough good things about it when she was done.

Room was large and accommodated our family of 4 nicely. Beds weren't very comfortable. Good location. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Play pen was already set up when we arrived. Would stay again.

I stayed here for two nights by my self, first time in Vancouver, and the staff was very helpful in suggesting things I could do and places I could it. The hotel is in the middle of Downtown, walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops, and only a few blocks from the Skytrain that goes to the airport. Value was also good compared to other high end hotels in the area. The room was nice and big, and I got the choice of skipping cleaning (save the environment, who needs to change sheets everyday anyway?) and got a $5 voucher as a thank you.

Room Tip: The higher up the better. I was on tenth floor. There was some traffic noise, but nothing that kept me from sleeping, you just realize you're in a big city.
