This is the beach to be at apparently. It was really busy and people were all over the place. They have a dedicated change room and a restaurant here.

I found the outer areas to be less crowded and nicer. Bring a water bottle and prepare for the heat. The water is from the ocean, so it can be a little dirty. Shower after swimming.

Cool trendy types hang out here . Not sure if sea is v clean as water is cloudy and a bit scummy. Incredible views across to Stanley Park and North Vancouver.

It's nice and quiet first thing in the morning walking on the grass feeling the cool and refreshing morning dew on my feet.

Really nice clean beach away from the main town area of Vancouver. Just a word of advice, follow the seaside pathway and don't try and take a shortcut through the built up areas as the signposting is a little off and you might end up in the wrong location. The beach was busy but not crowded for a hot summer's day when I visited. It is mainly a sandy beach but there are pebbles down to the water so water shoes or flip flops are advisable to prevent painful feet. The water was clean and a nice refreshing temperature, with life guards on duty to allow for safe swimming. It also seems that the water is quite shallow when the tide is out. There seemed a lot to do at the beach as well including kayak and paddle board rentals, volleyball courts and tennis courts. There were also places to grab a drink or some food if you needed refreshment, so easily a place to spend the day relaxing and having a swim.

A popular spot for tourists and locals, Kits beach is very clean and great for those of all ages. It does get quite busy on weekends and holidays. There is a lifeguard on duty and there is ample parking. There is a restaurant, bathrooms, changing rooms and showers.
