This review after an 8-night stay should have more value than after a one-nighter or weekend.
Suite: comfortable and roomy, big wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling windows gave huge spacious feel when drapes pulled back. Living room with one of the two TV's in the suite was handy when the wife didn't share my interest in the NBA and Stanley Cup finals. The door to the bedroom could be closed so as not to disturb madame's viewing of her chosen channel.
Galley kitchen (kitchenette) was sufficient for our self-catering evenings-in. Huge fridge.
All staff most helpful, cheerful and courteous - from chambermaid, dining room to front desk. Services made use of included the laundry and safety deposit box.
Breakfast - continental, part of the package - basic but sufficient.
As far as we were concerned, the most significant event of our stay occurred at breakfast one morning when a lady stopped by our table and introduced herself as a director of the hotel. Not only did she show a keen personal interest in ourselves, but she was interested to hear our answers to many questions she asked us about "her" hotel and obviously placed a good deal of value on them. We were not only impressed by the fact that this extremely busy lady spent some of her precious time in making herself known to us, and paying us the respect of valuing our answers to her questions. As if the first encounter wasn't enough, later in our stay she stopped by at breakfast once more and chatted and asked more questions, keen to know if and how our opinions had altered since our previous talk. Very impressive indeed.
Onlt 3 stars given for Location, since for my 75-year-old legs the hotel is located a couple of blocks too far from the main CBD, though obviously it must be fine for the theatre and stadium.
All in all, a most satisfactory stay.

For the past 9 years I have been the Queensland Leader of Groups to Canada/Alaska. Rosedale on Robson, Vancouver, British Columbia is our first port of call after arriving into the Airport after a long flight from Australia. This hotel is so safe, friendly, comfortable and convenient. We stay here 5 nights out of 23 during our tour and I cannot genuinely speak highly enough of the service given by all facets of the hotel staff to all my travellers.

we chose this hotel for its affordability as compared to other options given to us from our TA.
We only had 1 night and would have benefitted from longer as we did not really have long enough to orientate ourselves.
Our 1 bedroom unit was big and comfy - light and airy and we could see out at apartments on the otherside of street.
There is a pub /cafe attached to hotel- breakfast service was slow but it was handy.
There are timeshare units attached to this hotel and if we could get a exchange into them we would take it like a shot as the location is central.

This is our second stay here, first was about 7 years ago and this time I think if anything the hotel was better than ever. It's an all suite hotel which gives just that extra space to move around, having a small kitchenette is really handy after a day out sightseeing and for breakfast too. There was a great grocery store, called Market Place not that far away for provisions. Not that far from Canada Place for cruise ship departures and all other shops etc within easy distance. Stanley Park was quite a way away but we still walked there.

Four of us (Two adults, one teenage and one 6 month old) traveled to Vancouver for my best friend Birthday to watch a Canuks game in March. We chose to stay here because it's close to Robson, and close to GM Place.
We had a room that had a living/kitchen area with a Hide-A Bed, and then a "master" bedroom with a King sized bed. This was perfect for us! There was a roof top balcony off the master bedroom. It was rainy the entire time we were there, so we didn't get to use the garden area, but it was really pretty to look out on.
We REALLY enjoyed our stay! The cleaning ladies were great! They saw that it was a room full of women when we passed in the hall our first morning there, and they immediately, without being asked, left extra shampoos, soaps, and towels.
The restaurant downstairs was very nice, the staff was friendly, and it was easy to get a cab when needed. Because of the great location, we mainly walked as we were pretty close to everything.
We are already planning next years trip, and can't wait to stay here again!

We stayed here for 1 night before our cruise in the 2 bedroom suite & then again in the same suite for 1 night after the cruise, I have no complaints what so ever.
They let us check in at 9.00am which was fantastic, the restaurant Rosie's next door was great, they also have a indoor pool/hot tub as well as a gym.
The rooms were very clean & spacious, the staff were polite & helpful.
Would definetly reccomend!

Four families travelled together to attend a wedding. Arrived near midnight after a long, delayed flight from London and check-in staff could not have been more unhelpful if they tried. No assistance with bags, no directions to elevators, floors, amenities etc. Questions were either ignored or met with mumbled replies. "Suites" were not small, they were tiny, particularly the bathroom which is definitely not for the claustrophobic! The complimentary breakfast was a joke and unless you were up very early, the muffins ran out very quickly.

On the plus side, the rooms were clean and kept so throughout our 12-day stay. The bar & restaurant staff beat their front-of-house counterparts hands down being both friendly and efficient. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably good value.

The hotel is conveniently located with plenty of shops, bars and resataurants and the football stadium all within easy walking distance. In fact, we walked just about everywhere we went due to a) the ease of navigation, b) the fantastic weather and, c) the guilt of over-indulgence making us want to take some exercise. Gastown, Chinatown, Stanley Park and many other areas of interest were all within an easy 20-30 minute stroll and when required, taxis were easy to find.

Overall, it was probably worth the money for the location but the overall experience was definitely spoiled by the surly staff. Vancouver, on the contrary, is by far the best city I have ever visited.
