“Great place for a family for a short stay”
Reviewed 13 July 2013 via mobile

This hotel is in a great location with easy access to the bike path and the ferry terminal in False Creek. The continental breakfast had a number of different pastries and good coffee. While the rooms are a little small we enjoyed having access to a kitchen.

There are a number of a good restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk and we felt safe walking iin the neighborhood with our two children age 11 and 13.

My husband and I love to stay in places like this - apartment style with full kitchen and washer/dryer - and this was great. It was comfortable and bright and the location was FANTASTIC! We walked along the waterfront every day (less than a block away!) and the property was right by the ferry stop across to Granville Island. (the Public Market there was the perfect way to put the kitchen to use) There was no air conditioning, but the breeze and the fan in the room kept it perfect. Bottom line: Friendly, clean, well-located and a great value...ticked all the boxes for us. :)

Room Tip: We had a room on a higher floor...great breezes and no noise.

We stayed at this apt/hotel for 4 nights and we were more than happy with the location and the suite itself. It was clean well appointed and very quiet. We were right beside the elevator and we were concerned that we would hear it especially at night...never heard anything. Also the location is between 2 bridges...again, didn't hear any nose coming for either bridge. It is just a stores throw to get on the water taxi to get to Granville island, there are many restaurants and stores within walking distance. I would suggest going to Granville island to do your grocery shopping, there is so much to choose from at the market, it is a feast for the eyes.
The hotel is adjacent to the sea wall and an easy walk to English Bay. We couldn't have stayed at a better place. Staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was nothing exciting but we would get bread slices and muffins and return to our room for a leisurely breakfast. We will stay there next time we go to Vancouver and consider a Jr. Suite instead of a one bedroom. Check their website for special rates.

Room Tip: Jr. Suites are large bachelor suites, very spacious.

Stayed here for 3 nights we had room 701 a one bedroom unit. It was a little dated but, clean, with a comfortable bed, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer - all you need really. The bathroom was ok clean with all you need. There was a nice enclosed balcony to sit and watch the world or go on line, excellent speed at 5 dollars a day. It was fine for the price in a good area, but a bit noisy from the traffic. The location was good for the hop on bus and ferry to Granville Island. There is a small supermarket opposite and a few restaurants within a few minutes walk. The Pirate pub is good and the waterside walk is very pleasant as long as you dodge the joggers and cyclists! Nothing to complain about and a decent complimentary breakfast.

We spent one night at the 910 Beach and were quite comfortable. Inexpensive taxi ride from the cruise ship dock as well. We arrived early and had no problem stashing our bags in their office. Just across False Creek from Granville Island, the best place for eating and shopping in Vancouver and you can get there in five minutes using the Aquabus. Very nice to have a washer/dryer, and we used the kitchen to cook some fresh pasta we bought at the farmer's market. We left our bags with them after check-out once again and they called us a taxi, which arrived promptly. No complaints at all and if I find myself in Vancouver again, I will stay here for sure.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room away from the street - we were on the second floor and it was probably a little...

We booked a junior suite apartment for a week in Vancouver. The apartments are centrally situated in downtown Vancouver, very close to the water front, a few yards to the ferries that take you to Granville Island, 5-10 minute walk to everything else in downtown Vancouver. You can walk to all central Vancouver attractions, including nice restaurants and cafes in Yaletown, the quaint gay neighbourhood Davie St, more historical Gastown, shopping on Robson St and Pacific Centre shopping mall, minutes from Granville Island and a short walk along the sea front to Stanley Park. You don't need public transport but if you need to go further afield, there are plenty buses from Pacific St (1 block away), Yaletown skytrain station (a few blocks).

The apartment was nicely decorated and it was cleaned regularly. It had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, cutlery, pans, dishwasher (with free detergent), oven, cooker, toaster, coffee maker and a kettle. There is high speed wifi in the suites ($19 charge/week, or $4/day), TV, DVD, stereo, alarm clock, telephone, washer and dryer. The bed very was comfortable. There is a nice sitting area in junior suites and an additional small room for dining.

We had a beautiful view overlooking Horny St and the waterfront but heard no noise from the street as the suite was double-glazed. There was a small empty room, where we kept our luggage and other mess out of the way. Sufficient wardrobe and drawers were available.

There is complimentary continental style breakfast buffet downstairs every morning between 6.30-9.30am. I have seen some travellers who commented this as 'a sad attempt'. I completely disagree. The complimentary breakfast buffet has coffee, tea, nice bread, cakes, croissants, bagels, butter, fruit for guests to pick up and take to their rooms.

Most importantly, the staff at 910 Beach Avenue are amazing. They are extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant.

Vancouver is a lovely city and 910 Beach Ave is a jewel in this crown. I am sure we will return to Vancouver and stay at this lovely place again.

This is a very nice and affordable place to stay. It does NOT come with many side amenities.-- pool, hot tub, shuttle service. We did have to use cabs to get around and if you are doing a tour you have to walk a few blocks to get to hotels where they pick up. (The big busses are not allowed on that street) The kitchen was nice -- though we would have liked a toaster. The front desk was extremely helpful in checking things out for us, making dinner reservations and booking cabs. (We even got a free appetizer at The Sandbar -- great place! for booking our reservation through our hotel.) We asked for a pot scrubber and the cleaning crew got one right to us with a big smile. The entire staff was incredibly nice and helpful. (Though they didn't always know the actual hours places were open -- so check that out in the internet to verify.) The one bedroom is small with no windows, but we found the fans and it was quite functional. We had a three bedroom suite which fit our needs perfectly. The patio was HUGE! This is one block from the water, and it really isn't a full water view -- but still nice. The washer and dryer were MUCH appreciated. And the continental breakfast worked for us with just a few added items from the little market right across the street. Bike rentals for Stanley Park just one block up. Lots of great restaurants on the water -- but if cost is a concern head for Davey Street! The Market on Granville Island is a MUST DO! AMAZING! And the aqua bus is literally steps away. The ride to Stanley Park by bike is 10 minutes. All in all -- it was perfect for us!

Room Tip: Our private patio and three bedrooms made this the right choice for three couples. The living room...
