Vancouver was our vacation destination during the holidays. For years, I had yearned to visit Vancouver again but the city's hotel room prices prevented us from returning. It was sheer luck my partner found this hotel as he surfed the net and went ahead and booked a room in the hotel for 6 nights over the Christmas holidays. The hotel's location couldn't be beat. It was so centrally located. Just like many hotels we've stayed in over the years, our room had wall to wall carpeting which was a personal turn off. I also would have liked a room facing the street. We had an interior room which faced the wall of the building behind it. Hence no view. The bathroom was quite big. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels were provided daily. There was even a small refrigerator in the room where we stored food and drinks. Be forewarned that this is not a luxury hotel. I would label the Days Inn on W. Pender Street a budget hotel. Don't expect any luxury from it as there is none. However, it is clean and safe. The hotel's front desk people were likewise friendly and professional. The room served our needs for a bed to sleep in after a day full of sightseeing and the price was just right. I wouldn't mind coming back.
