We booked our Vancouver post-cruise city tour with airport transfer through Viator and it turned out to be with Wild BC. We disembarked our ship a little earlier, but no problem, the tour started earlier too because there was only our party of 4. After waiting 15-20min, we got picked up in an SUV and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. At each stop, he'd say we have 15-20min, whatever we'd like, no rush. However, we weren't comfortable keeping him waiting (we were free to wander around on our own most times), so we still felt that more time should've been given. The guide did accommodate us, allowing us a bit of extra time down the main street to do some souvenir shopping. Our city tour included Granville Island (more time here at the market stalls is definitely needed), Stanley Park with its totems, a drive through its small forest to the Lion's Gate Bridge overlook. We also went up to the Vancouver Lookout Viewing Deck and Chinatown. Not sure what we should've expected, but there didn't seem to be many stops and not enough time at the stops, and the tour ended an hour earlier than the advertised time with our dropoff at the domestic airport- eventhough we started 30 min earlier at most. We received 2 postcard souvenirs at the end, which was a nice touch. Overall, the service was great and the guide was nice, but we left feeling like Vancouver was just OK. Not that much to get excited about. For a quick post-cruise tour, maybe that's all we can expect.

We were sad to hear you were not so impressed by Vancouver, we take such pride in our city, but glad to hear you liked our service. Oh and thanks for posting the wonderful photos of your visit.
Timing for us is very important as well, and we always try to go with the interests of the clients, so please do not worry about keeping our guides waiting, that is what we are there for.
Since no one else was booked on this bus tour-transfer we just turned it into a private tour for the four of you, since we do not cancel bookings, hence the SUV which is what we usually use for our private tours.

The four 20 minuite stops and the half hour break on Granville Island, on our four-hour tours is about all we have time for, and still get out to the airport on time. Thanks again for the review and the beautiful photos.

For anyone who is reading this review, I will simply tell you that Wild BC Tours is simply the undiscovered gem of the Vancouver Tour scene. My wife and I have toured with Chuck twice now, most recently a 3 day, 2 night tour of the Okanagan wine country. Chuck is a gracious host who is only too happy to customize your experience to suit your needs. We had a brilliant experience and would recommend him to everyone. My advice? - try a tour, before the rest of the world disovers this hidden treasure!

We went on a Trip last July 2012 with Chuck and Nick to see the wineries around Vancouver. They picked us up at the hotel with their Cadillac Limo, through the whole trip they were giving information of the areas and what to expect, history, amusements etc. It was a great Private Tour. We visited around five wineries and ended with a lunch at one of them. The food was delicious. The guided experience was amazing!!!

Chuck was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable of the surroundings around Vancouver and Whistler. Short walks to fantastic views of waterfalls on the way, personalised service and plenty of time to explore Whistler village. A relaxing change from tour buses. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

You don’t have to be over 60 to tour the Canadian Rockies and be as pampered as we were, with Chuck Scott of Wild BC Tours. He picked us up in Vancouver in his Cadillac stretch limo. So comfortable, so much leg room. We could stop where we wanted or stay longer where we wanted and no waiting for hordes of people to get on and off buses. He organized a great itinerary for us. He was very flexible and knew the best places to stop and sightsee and the best places to spend overnight. His knowledge of the areas we visited was extensive and interesting and he never tired of answering our questions. Thanks Chuck for the wonderful experience of seeing this awesome part of your country and we hope to be back.
