We took the Grand Tour on our first day in Vancouver to learn our way around the city and what a treat it was! Our tour guide, Iffany was outstanding to say the least. Her knowledge of the city history and inner workings is unbelievable. She went into great detail about the city's efforts and progress in becoming bike friendly and we found it so refreshing to learn that politicians listen in some places. The tour highlights Vancouver's Stanley Park, Graneville Island, Gastown, Chinatown and some of the better bike pathways throughout the downtown area. The stop in the market on Graneville Island was a particular treat to get to sample some of the excellent local food. The pace of the ride was very comfortable, the bikes were in excellent condition for rentals and we felt the tour was well worth the price. This is a must do in Vancouver!
