The Re-Up BBQ is one of the food cart contenders in Vancouver's burgeoning selection of street foods. Located on a prime location by the Vancouver Art Gallery, this is the perfect spot to stop and grab a bite. The pulled pork sandwhich was tender and tasty but not overly saucy, topped with crispy tangy coleslaw on a soft warm bun. Get it wrapped up to go, or ask for it here and spend a few minutes enjoying the downtown atmosphere.

What could be better than sitting on the steps of the Art Gallery watching the world go by? Doing it while sucking down one of re-ups tasty sandwiches.

Pulled pork is the star here, with a heaping helping of coleslaw and BBQ sauce. Washed down with one of their Southern (sweetened, that is) ice teas, the meal is filing enough to keep you going, but not slow you down. There is also brisket on the menu, but if you a newbie to the re-up cult, start with the pork. On cloudy days you can take it with you, but get it "for here", pull up a step, and enjoy the scenery if you can.

The right amount of sauce and the right amount of spice on a huge pile of juicy meat and warm bun = orgasmic goodness.

I expected more of a smokey taste, but I really enjoyed the zestiness of the coleslaw and meat in this sandwich.

That was $7.00 well spent...
