The service was amazing but I was one of very few diners. The sake selection was very good. I chose a very nice northern Jumai from Akita. The food was creative and of very good quality. The best was sockeye nigiri with lemon and sea salt. The other dishes had a bit too much shiso leaf. I will return if they are still open.

Tried this last night as had heard good things about food quality.,Outstanding service and excellent quality food. Japanese fusion with a twist, but the traditional sashimi and maki are available as well. Huge seating area but a walk up which may be challenging for some. Well designed modern restaurant. Pity they will close on 23 December!

Taste treat delights at Ki!! Pure, undiluted and raw as the name promises. Tobo-san (Yoshi Tobo, Master Chef) treats guests to some of the best sushi foods you could hope for. Miso soup to start was very satisfying. The 'Dassai 50' sake from Asahi Shuzo Nigori is a taste treat delight. A pure, clear, smooth, and subtly sweet complement to great food. Benizake (sockeye salmon) and maguro (bigeye tuna) nagiri fresh, beautifully presented and scrumptious. Tobo-san's signature hamachi and jalapeño is always one of my favourites. The garlic-fried rice is a great side. The lemongrass chamomile infused creme brûlée dessert was a perfect cap for an exquisite meal. Very satisfying food experience in a modern setting. Highly recommended.

Staff were friendly from the get go and our server went out of her way to map out must see's/do's while in Vancouver. The sushi was wonderful (Dungeness crab a must) and the halibut main was good as well (a bit overcooked but the sauce it came in was incredible). If you're a tea drinker they really do have lovely tasting organic teas.
