Not many hotels allow five in a room, so we appreciated the Comfort Inn. If economy is more important to you than a spacious room or beautiful view, this is the hotel for you. The beds are new and comfortable, the bathroom clean and newly redone , the free breakfast is plentiful and you can sit and read the paper as long as you like, and the staff makes you feel like their most important guest. The side street, Granville, is one of the least attractive streets in Vancouver, but no one will bother you and the noise didn't reach our room on the fifth floor. The hotel staff is security conscious, and the nightclub uses a separate entrance. We walked and used Translink, there's no use for a car in this city. We had dinner at Doolin's -- the Irish Nachos were great!

Arrived late on a Friday evening after driving up from Seattle on the way to Whistler This is a party area if you want night life. Sidewalks were clogged with younger adults out clubbing. The location is in the middle of downtown Vancover so its pretty central to most everywhere...Stanley Park, Granville Island, cruise dock, Robson St. This was just a stopover and I just wanted to go to sleep. Room was clean, but small... no bigger than 14 ft. by 14 ft....felt a bit claustrophobic. Floor was slanted from the outside of the building towards the interior hall. Reminded me of some of the smaller and older European hotels that I have stayed in. Decent value with the breakfast (waffles, juice, coffee, toast, pastries, and fruit) but might want to go elsewhere if you need a larger room. Parking was an extra $15 next door.

This hotel was difficult to find, mainly due to construction and one way streets. Once we found the hotel it was in a very good location in the cnetre of town, we were able to spend the afternoon walking all around town and back to the hotel without a problem. We chose this particular hotel for the jacuzzi and the ensuite jacuzzi was very nice but the room was smaller than expected and the bed not very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good, large assortment and plenty of space.
service was good. while we were checking out there was a couple checking in and they were being rather rude to the receptionist and telling the receptionist that he knew nothing. I was impressed with how the receptionist handled this situation.

This is a stylish place. Our room was enormous, with a sofa and chairs and a desk and two big beds, windows in two directions and plenty of walking around space. The bathroom was cool with a pedestal sink. Decor was colorful, sleek, yet cheerful and clean at the same time. Loved it. Breakfast at the pub next door was great. Beds were super-duper comfy. Mattresses were Beautyrest pillowtops - Classic. (Yes, I checked. I'm buying the same for my next mattress) I've stayed in a lot of downtown hotels and the rooms tend to be hobbit-sized and priced for royalty. Not this place. Excellent value and a very nice walk down to Stanley Park.

My stay here was unplanned and I chose it simply because it was the first hotel I saw.
However, I do not regret staying here at all and would stay here again.

My room was clean and comfortable. Even a bath in the bathroom which was lovely. There is a lot of construction working going on nearby, however, I could not hear anything from my room.

Walking distance to Robinson street and Yaletown.

There is only one lift in the hotel, so sometimes it took awhile to come however, this was not really a major problem for me.
